I needed a specialist battery kit for my old Seiko watch. After being told by a couple of watch repairers that it couldn't be fixed, I decided to look around myself. I found what I needed on Amazon but decided to keep looking. I found exactly the same genuine Seiko parts kit on the Small Battery Company's website at 25% lower price. I've used Jim's services for over ten years, and never had a problem. I live in Scotland, and typically the batteries arrive within 2 days. Much more convenient than searching for a local supplier. The prices are reasonable, and I like the fact that they include postage. Only comment is that the site is a bit 'clunky', but I can live with that, especially given the fact that it's clear what I'm getting when, as often happens, I'm trying to replace an OEM battery with a slightly different code. read more

I ordered a battery from the small battery company. I ordered it to be delivered to my address in Spain, however after entering my spanish address on the SBC website and I was charged extra for the EU delivery the site directed me to the world pay site. On the world pay site (a different company) I entered my billing address to my old home in the UK which my old debit card it still billed to. I have yet to change this as I had a paperless account and I only had £70 remaining, After some confusion I was informed by "Jim" I had given him wrong address, which I protested, referring to the extra EU delivery I was charged. After some pretty poor reasons and excuses, "Jim" stopped replying to my emails. Jim, you have my money, you were very quick in that respect, you took the money the following day. While here I am almost an month later £30 poorer and no battery. I will not use or recommend this company to anyone. read more

I am very sad to see only such negative reviews. I have used Small Battery very many times, always getting what I ordered within a day or two, sometimes within 24 hours. My deliveries have been to a straightforward UK address which is the same as my billing address, and my purchases have not been anything unusual. The service has thus far been outstanding, I regularly recommend them to other people. I have no connection whatsoever to the Small Battery Company. read more

I placed an order on the 27th Dec and received an email on the 29th stating that my order had been received and would be despatched within 24 hours . 1 month later and two emails, to which I have received no replies. I have to assume that I am not going to receive these items, despite having paid for them. I would not therefore recommend this company. read more
