Absolutely awful! I had the I8 mattress delivered to my home and it was an awful experience. The delivery people RAN in my house, in such a rush they ripped off the door frame of my bedroom and chipped off my paint. They told me how many issues I would have with the mattress and insulted my bedroom saying it is too small (who says that?). Not only did they damage my home, they tried to gaslight me saying they didn't do it! Insane! Then the delivery person hammered (very poorly) my door frame back and rudely didn't even put the mattress on my bed all the way. NOW - I have to pay $500 total for delivery and pickup with no exceptions. Absolute insanity! read more

Don't spend the money! We did and are now trapped with an 8k new bed and app system that doesn't even stay online most of the time within Boise city limits. My wife now complains of back pain she's never had and I have to admit I've had better in a hotel bed by far. It's a glorified blowup bed that's a beast to get rid of. I wish there was a way to give negative stars. I was so excited to get a sleep number bed. I spent a couple of hours picking out the right mattress. I had the right one picked out and was looking forward to the promise of a pain free good nights sleep. Instead what entailed was 8 days of red flag warnings that I kept blowing off because I wanted that promise of a good nights sleep. It all came to a head when they tried to deliver the bed and I was told that they couldn't get the 250# base up my stairwell. They asked me if I live on a multi floor house but never inquired what the dimensions where to see if I could actually accept delivery. Someone being curious, and asking a tiny question could have solved this for me, and many other people according to the delivery team. The Icing on the cake for all of this is that the morning that my bed was to be delivered also coincided with trash day. Since the sleep number bed uses special sheets and I wasn't planning on keeping my old bed I threw away my mattress protector and 6 sets of sheets. There have been no apologies, no efforts to see what other solutions they have, just "you'll need to call customer service to have them take care of that for you." 10/10 would never do business here, but would recommend someone I really dislike do business here so they can go through the same red flag rigamarole and have their promise of good nights sleep deflated. Sleep Number, your promised to deliver good night sleep and all you sent was a nightmare. read more

Absolutely the worst option for a mattress. Very poor customer service especially when it's a manufacturing defect. They say it's a 25 year warranty and if it a manufacturing defect like stitching coming apart they want you to pay for the item needing replaced. I've talked to them and also did it web chat. It makes no difference they still want me to shell out Benjamin's. The mattress itself stitching came apart so the sidewall sags and they want me to pay almost 400 to replace it. Really poor practice when I paid 5 grand for the mattress and it supposedly has a 25 year warranty they can kiss my tail end. Especially when I can buy a brand new mattress for that amount. With the issues I've had with this bed since 2015 I can buy a new one every 2 years for the ridiculous cost I spent to begin with. I can actually buy a new one every year. They are 0 help. Correct, Not Good, GREAT! Problem: Broken mattress (chamber). It seemed like they make the sale and buh-bye. Any attempts at calling the customer support center for my (from day one) broken air chamber (mattress) went unanswered. Why you ask? Well, a hurricane wiped out their one and only call center in New Orleans. Do they have a backup? No. Fire the Disaster Recover Chief and hire someone else, it's affecting your customer base. We bought one jumbo King Size split i8 with power steering, power brakes, air, dropped suspension, the works and were excited to have great sleep. Then I bottomed out. I thought "okay, I've gained a few, yeah, but COME ON!!! A MATTRESS is deflating!!!???" That hurts. I called and they said to test it by isolating the chamber by capping it off. I did it and I'm still fat. It deflated. That told me, and them, that the chamber is broke. I tried calling the support center in New Orleans. Twice. On hold for :30 each time with no connect. I finally called the local shop where we bought them and the first call I only got the standard, "here's our 800 number and please use chat online". Chat was disabled, and 800 number wouldn't connect me because there were so many people calling in. So I went online and tried to fill out the customer service form for help. I then got a call from Jessica at the local store I just called and she gave me a "secret" number (or two) and said "call these, they'll help". After I got done almost spraining an eye muscle from my eyeroll, I called the "secret" number. OMG, they answered!!! SHUT UP!!!! Well, I told them what happened and within about 5 mins. they had a new chamber in the mail. Thanks Jessica!!! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the broken chamber. :( Other than that, 5 stars. OH!! and we bought one for our RV and it's great !!!! I purchased a sleep number bed 2 1/2 years ago. Paid $3,000 bought the cool/heat pad (too slippery). I woke up 2 weeks ago with a stiff neck, I thought I slept wrong. After 3 days my back was killing me I ended up in the ER. I thought my bed felt soft but my remote said it was at my number 50. I was in bed on muscle relaxers and again thought my bed was too soft. I put the bed up to 100 and back down to 50. It was obvoiusly losing air slowly throughtout the night, I called customer service they dignosed it over the phone and was happy to overnight the part but needed a credit card for the $500 part, oh but with my warranty it's $300. NO WAY! I like the bed but now I fear I will be buying parts all the time. I'll be buying a new bed today. read more

And we purchased a sleep number bed slightly over a year ago. Since then they're extremely expensive sheets that we purchased along with the $10,000 bed, became worn and frayed. I called to get some help from customer service. Number 30, asked me if I was digging my heels in the bed and causing the shits to become frayed. I have never had this happen and I've never had somebody try to diagnose my sleeping habits. She said that all they could do was replace the sheets with the exact shit. I said but if these are defective, why do I want a defective replacement?She said that that was their policy. My policy is to never shop for sheets there again. And if you go on Amazon you can find these Bamboo 600 thread count there appeared to be like 10,000 times better than the sleep number quality. I believe they knew they have a defective product and are just trying to get rid of it. I don't think this is a nice thing to do for people that spent $10,000 on a bed! Since your policy is to exchange defective good with defective goods I doubt that I'll even open the box when it gets here. read more

They were pretty busy when we visited last week, but Kris did an awesome job helping us and walking us through all of the options available. I would recommend him as someone to talk to if you are new to sleep number beds and want the run down. We ended up going home and thinking it over for a while since this was a pretty big purchase for us. It was nice not to be pressured to buy on the spot. We came in on a Saturday and it wasn't as busy as I had expected. I really like the store manager here (Wayne) and we were treated respectfully by all personnel. We ended up buying a split king I8 bed with adjustable base and were able to negotiate a fair deal. We were prepared for the sticker shock since this is our third Select Comfort bed, the present one being 10 years old. The salesman had lots of tenure there however his product knowledge was not as good as would be expected. He told us that the foam "cap" was one solid piece, not glued together. We asked to see the construction of the foam on the demo bed but were denied because of some screwy COVID excuse. I have since learned from my own research that the cap (top layer and sides) are a built up glued assembly. He also told us that the financing would not be a hard inquiry to my credit report which proved false. But we were approved for zero percent financing which we were very pleased with. I should have known this would be a hard inquiry but the salesman should know this as well. We asked to see the warranty terms, which were not available in print at the store but they printed out a copy from on-line (it is only a one-year warranty before going to pro-ration). They kept emphasizing the 15 year warranty but the way the proration is structured you end up paying for 50% at five years and at 11-15 years you pay 85% so it is not really a good selling point. The delivery is 4 weeks out which indicates that the factory is building up beds on an as-ordered basis. I found out that there is a competitive product on the market now, Personal Comfort out of Orlando and there is a dealer here in Garden City. After checking pricing Select Comfort was a better deal and I am satisfied with my purchase. I believe that the bed is a good product but after being in business for 35 years I think that there is still a lot of improvement they could do in the engineering, and probably haven't because of the lack of competition until now. So we will see what happens in the future. read more

I am very happy with my bed I bought in 2018, I have had no problems. I order some pillow on line in may 2020. I didn't like them and went to the store in meridian to exchange, met with Jessica very helpful with the exchange and also bought some other bedding. Not sure what people are complaining about, if you have a problem with your bed then work with the store manager to resolve it. read more

Don't buy a bed from these guys! They are the worst. Sales guy Lee was very nice then told me that I'd get the bed in 3 weeks. Wrong! They delivered 6 weeks later. Then it worked for 2 days! Stopped working nov 2 and they gave me a service appointment on December 14. Seriously. Do yourself a favor, buy a regular bed and then by $5k of lottery tix. Much better use of your $$$. They told us 2 weeks to get our mattress and we even got it earlier than that. They delivered it when they said they would and set it all up for us. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

PSA: DO NOT TRUST SLEEP NUMBER WHEN THEY SAY YOU GET A 90 DAY FREE TRIAL!!!! Chad and I tried it out. The first bed they sent us was broken. When we asked for an exchange, they tried to charge us $199 to deliver the new bed and they said that we could either return or exchange in our 90 days but if we did either our 90 day window closed. YOU SENT US A BROKEN BED!!!! IT DEFLATED IN THE NIGHT AND WE WOKE UP ON THE SUPPORT BASE EVERY MORNING!!!! After talking to three supervisors, they finally agreed to send us an unbroken bed and let us try it for a few nights. We decided we didnt like it and called to return it. We paid $4000 for our bed, they wanted to refund us $3000. They said we had to pay for the matress protector, the two knee pillows (tiny stupid things that we've never used) and the set up and delivery fee that was supposed to be free when we bought our bed but apparently we purchased it the day after that promotion ended and even though our sales rep promised it to us, sleep number wont honor it. After three more service calls, getting called a bitch and being hung up on 3 times, I finally got them to take the bed back for only a $500 loss. Free 90 day trial my ass!!!!!! Our experience buying and set-up was good. What I am not happy about is the company's customer service. My pump quit working after a little more than 2 years. I called the store thinking that they could schedule a repairman to come here the next day. My bed is concave and no way to change it. We own a king and a queen with sleep IQ from that store. I was given a 1-800 number to call. The service person on the phone was great but I am sick and have arthritic hands so it was hard for me to go through all the testing with his prompts. In the end I was told they would send me a new pump, it will cost approx. $180 and will arrive in about a week. I think I could have done better with a different company. read more

My wife and I went to the sleep number store looking to buy a new bed. We have had a sleep number bed for many years but, the foundation was broken and it was not working correctly. The salesman showed us a King iLE Sleep IQ bed that was 6,000.00 but was on black Friday sale for 3200.00. I asked if it included the headboard which he said no. I said that was fine as we had one. We purchased the bed and a couple of accessories and was told it would be delivered and set up on the 6th. The 6th came and we tore the old bed apart for them. Later that afternoon my wife calls to tell me she just heard from them and the bed was sent to a different area and they would not be able to set it up until the 20th. After a number of phone calls I was finally able to at least get them to knock off the delivery charge. Yesterday the bed was delivered and set up. When I got home I went up to and found it sitting on the old broken foundations. I called the store to find out what the deal was and was informed it did not come with a foundation, that would be another 400.00. (A 6000.00 bed and no foundation???) I was told he would see if it would be possible to get the foundations at the black Friday price of 200.00 and let me know the next day. He called today and told me they would do that but, I needed to call customer service to verify and pay for the foundation. When I called and explained to the service person he told me it would be 325.00. When I asked why he informed me there would be shipping involved. I then told him If I had to pay for shipping They would be getting everything back. It ended up with my paying 207.00 and it will come on the 24th by ups and I will have to assemble the foundation which should have been with the original delivery. read more

I was very disappointed when I went to the Sleep Number Store and discovered that not only did they not have any of their products in the store but that if I order it and it was shipped to the store it would cost me the same amount in shipping as if i just had it sent to my home. I was ask if I just did not want to have it shipped to the store and they would come out and set it up for an additional $80 or $90. Now if you are a person who cannot set thing up it might be worth your time to have them charge you for the shipping and then charge you to set up the bed. However, if you are able to follow written directions of pictures the set of up the bed is a no brainer. I had mine shipped to the house. I was paying for the shipping either way and then in less than an hour the bed was set up and the sheets were on the bed ready for a good nights sleep. I think it is a shame that this store with a great products takes advantage of the public by charging for the shipping whether to your home or the store and then they want to charge even more to set up something so simple. Now the base is a bit more of a chore but not that much if you just have the platform. read more
