Took a detour to make it to Slater Drug since we heard the milkshake here is incredible. Love this small town store/pharmacy! They have a little bit of everything - jars of candies, children's toys, cards, and more. The milkshakes were worth the drive out! So delicious and sooo cheap! We all got a small milkshake for $3. Tons of flavors from fruity flavors to mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, cheesecake, peanut butter and so much more. I got the peanut butter and I ate it up so quick. read more

Yes this is a Drug Store , BUT It's also the home of Milkshakes and Malt and Sundaes and just good ole Scoops of Ice Cream ! Do not go if in a hurry . This is a old fashioned store . They have 1 table with 3 seats . It's a take and go kinda place . Ms. Betty is well in her 80's and takes the ice cream business seriously. She is precious and has been there 19 years . What kinda shakes ? Anything you want . My friend is addicted to the banana , I had the peanut butter and it was the best ever ! Malts , yep, Floats , yep. Stop on the way up the mountain. Slater Drug is an old school drugstore located in downtown Marietta. One of very few mom and pop drug stores left in Greenville county. This place is awesome and they have many items in the store! Also their milkshakes are some of the best around. read more

Both of the pharmacists are approachable and extremely knowledgeable. I have found their advice on medications, prescribed treatments and over the counter remedies to be thorough, easily understood and most helpful. Also, the store has a fully functional soda fountain staffed by local teenagers that have been trained in the art of creating sodas and floats that are made with hand dipped ice cream. They also make milk shakes in a wide variety of flavors, malts, a variety of sundaes and banana splits made just like the splits I remember from the early 60's. The opportunity to experience this ice cream delicacy is well worth the trip to the drug store. read more

Slater drug is a great pharmacy the pharmacist are very nice there. Slater drug also has a old time soda fountain and there is an older lady there named Betty who has been there forever. Betty makes the best ice cream and milkshakes you will ever eat! Overall I will never use another pharmacy and I recommend them to everyone! read more
