There are a huge perks in living here which include having the smart home as well as the Amazon hub that both Amazon UPS and FedEx all have access to use so your packages are always secure. The common hallways are often cleaned and maintained to make sure everyone's homes remain nice! Maintenance is on top of things, from keeping common areas and pool spotless to responding to maintenance requests right away no matter what it is. The two man team goes the extra mile. The max I ever had to wait for anything was 24 hours and that's because it was out of their hands. The manager, Sam, and the team he overlooks are amazing as well. He is accommodating, reasonable and flexible, and always available to help. The rest of the office staff are friendly and professional and always responsive and accommodating. None of the management team and staff has hesitated to go above and beyond when needed. And contrary to one of the reviews, I was never asked to write a review. If I had the choice not to move out, I wouldn't.

I reached out to Marlen and she responds and gets it resolved right away. Elevator broken? (which has happened a few times now), Marlen calls the service team and they repair it within a day or so. Neighbor's nasty dogs leaving crappy stains all over the carpet in the shared community hallways? I send Marlen a picture and she gets the carpet cleaning team out the very next day. The list goes on! This place is a bit pricey, but I can 100% say that it has been worth every penny that I've spent here. and I would know, I have moved once or more a year since I was a child, and this is the first time that I would actually WANT to stay somewhere more than a year! I moved into the canyon vista community today under very difficult personal circumstances. Jeslet Sotelo, was the leasing agent who helped me. She went WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND--truly. She was incredibly overbooked, due to a clerical error with her scheduling software, but still took the time to ensure my move-in process was smooth, efficient, and as stress-free as possible. I recently went through a life-altering event and needed a place to start fresh ASAP. Jeslet was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also empathetic and kind--something I CANT articulate in words how desperately I needed. Thanks to her, I was able to move in today and am now able to put in the work on my next chapter. She deserves recognition (and honestly, a raise). Thank you, Jeslet, for turning a tough day into a hopeful one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY…read more A few things to mention after I lived here for nearly 2 years 1) When we moved in May 2020, the apartment wasn't ready for us to move in so we had to wait until the evening to move in which made an already difficult move in more difficult. They showed no sympathy and did nothing for us. 2) When we were thinking about moving out this year they wouldn't provide us with the new monthly rates or our 60 day notice so I had to call the regional wasatch communities office and get their regional director to help with the situation because the management did nothing about it. Finally after escalating to regional management they got me the new rates, which were too high so we moved out. 3) Upon moving out they do a walkthrough and charge you for everything possible. We had a professional cleaner come and clean the house and it was cleaner than when we moved in; yet they chose to charge us for crumbs in the pantry, water marks in the sink and dishwasher, and tiny marks on the oven. The pictures they provided as "evidence" were a joke. Expect to be ripped off when you move out. Even a professional cleaning won't help you.

Later, I returned to Utah; thinking back on the positive experience I'd had living in this apartment complex previously, I applied to move back in--but my happiness was short-lived. The first two weeks went smoothly, but then the neighbor downstairs apparently bought himself a high-quality TV sound system. He began watching his television at full volume--blasting bass so powerful that it made the floors and walls of my apartment vibrate. I started complaining to the property manager, who instructed me to record video evidence whenever the noise occurred. Fine--I began doing exactly that--yet the neighbor continued to blast his TV at maximum power. It took a full month for my complaints to finally take effect and for him to stop making the excessive noise. But then a problem arose with the upstairs neighbor--and please don't think I'm just being nitpicky. I spent a full month and a half filming video evidence; I never wanted to get involved in something like this, and I still don't. I work in construction, so I come home tired after work and simply expect a reasonable level of quiet. I understand that the entire building is--figuratively speaking--made of cardboard; I can plainly see the shoddy materials used to construct these apartments. However, the noise coming from the neighbor upstairs isn't just the sound of someone walking around their apartment or accidentally bumping something against a wall. It's a noise that typically starts in the evening--from 5:00 PM onward--and can last until midnight. It consists of some sort of banging against the walls and floor, occurring at five-to-ten-minute intervals. It would be one thing if this noise stopped by 10:00 PM, but it continues well past that hour, seemingly without end. I complained again, asking the property manager: "Where is the comfort and peace of mind I was promised?" I received a boilerplate response telling me to "keep documenting the incidents" and reminding me that "no one guaranteed you absolute silence." I'm a reasonable person, and I fully understand that--I'm not asking for absolute silence, as that's an unrealistic expectation. However, I do believe that my neighbor could easily stop this banging; he has simply chosen to disregard my well-being and continue doing it anyway. And now I realize that I'm stuck living with this noise for another ten months until my lease runs out. So, think carefully before moving into any apartment complex, and make sure to ask who your neighbors will be. My mistake was signing a thirteen-month lease--I based that decision on my previous, positive experience living in this building.
