He encouraged and lead the class in a positive direction that will keep me coming back. The class schedule at Blue Moon is bigger, with more offerings than other studios, both in terms of the number and the types of classes they offer. New students be aware - they offer a special of 4 classes for $40, quite a deal for the area! Other class packages are also relatively reasonably priced, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly and eager to work with whatever your special request is. The studio itself is a bit on the smaller side, with curtained windows on two sides. So, no mirror, if you're looking for that. But if you'd rather avoid a mirror while practicing, or find that a mirror interferes with balance in some poses - this is perfect! Both times I've been so far the classes have been at max or close to max capacity - I wonder if this means they may outgrow this space? Hmmm.

They employ very experienced yoga instructors that offer a variety of well-sequenced poses, sometimes set to a music theme. The result is a sweaty, high energy, fun yet challenging, 60 minute kick-butt workout! The studio itself (including the locker room with showers) was sparking clean as were the loaner mats, blocks, and towels. I highly recommend this studio for anyone that wants a five star "hot yoga" experience. They also have an extensive Pilates program at this location as well that seemed to be very well attended. Many thanks are due to Jan (the owner) for creating such a magnificent yoga studio! Upward and onward!! #Surf's Up Somewhere

Thank you google and Yelp for helping me find Synergy! I signed up for Hot 26, which I really had no clue what the class was about. The yoga studio is located in a building with direct access from the outside. Ample parking. I was instantly welcomed by the receptionist/yogi and checked in. She showed me the upstairs area where you can place your clothing/shoes, changing cubicles, and restrooms. The instructor, Virginia, gave me a little synopsis of the class (since she knew I was a new student). OMF I felt so welcomed (especially because i was nervous)! The studio is rectangular with mirrors on one wall. And yes, it is HOT. I loved the heat. Great class and great energy. Will be back!

At Pearl Yoga & Fitness I never feel intimidated or not advanced enough which I am sure we have all felt at some point at other studios. You will not find that here- friendly classmates, knowledgeable teachers, and a stress free zone. They are building a community for the average person that wants to get out and move but is not expected to be extremely flexible or overly dedicated. Another great thing I found was that the teachers will work with you on any muscle aches or tension you may having throughout your body. Nothing like a good stretch after sitting at a computer all day. For the location, price point and chill vibe the studio cannot be beat!

The facial it self was great, she used her own holistic skin care line that smelled and felt so good. I had some deep build up in my skin that Gina used this really cool bacteria killing machine that zapped my skin to kill any infections or what not; very high tech!! Plus I immediately could tell a difference after she used her tool. I purchased a few of her products that have already made a huge impact on my skin in less than a week. I was very lucky to discover Shannon's yoga classes at my local gym in Manahawkin, NJ. (Meridian)…read moreBeing pretty experienced in yoga with various styles and myself certified to teach, I am pretty picky about my yoga teachers. My former experiences with gym yoga have not been that great so I was doubtful this club would be different. Wow was I wrong. Shannon has such an amazing peaceful, healthy attitude towards the practice. Her talent is the ability to speak to anyone in her class at all levels. She does the practice with us and believe me I am energized by her energy. She is enthusiastic and positive without being annoying. She is not overly spiritual but imbues a spirit that we are all in this together: yoga, life, the world. She interweaves a vibe of interconnected-ness, we are part of nature and we have a right to be healthy and happy. Her classes are physical but not exhausting. I feel it was perfect for me at this time because my yoga classes in DC, Florida and North Jersey were very very power and physical. However my training was very basic Hatha and more meditative. It was a perfect mix of both. We got "our hearts- a-pumping, oxygen flowing, toxins-"a going.I loved the way she used words of ACTION, informing us how each movement and breath was directly bringing us health and negating possibility of disease. I felt so comfortable in her classes because she permitted space for students to take their practice where they needed it to go on that day, ie make it their own, (a slice of freedom in this controlled society) I could practice more on days i had energy and reminded us to listen to our bodies if we needed to be gentle or modify things for our particular needs. The whole point in BALANCE: ease and effort, heat vs cooling, stability vs flow. I also really enjoyed her focus on the core and her pilates training, always making t Sharon would tell us to us " Enjoy the work your body is doing." Embrace it, Okay this review is a mouthful , but I am hoping more people in this area (so desperate for good yoga) get to benefit from Shannon's talent and energy. We all need to be positive and stay committed to health. It takes a village sooooooooo..... in her words "LETS YOG ! " {verb}"
