Since there is no other theater in the immediate area prices are substantially higher than what you would pay for an IMAX evening movie and in a larger city. The theatre as a whole is pretty run down - peeling wallpaper, bathroom facilities which are usually out of order, A/C that either doesn't work, leaves you sweating, or stuck with a damp musty odor. The screens in several auditoriums are dirty too. Watched a movie the other day and there was a large stain right off center. Seats are pretty trashy - either the spring that lets you lean back is too lose and you fall backwards or it doesn't lean at all. Floors are VERY sticky and auditoriums rarely seem cleaned after shows.

It sounds anemic compared to other, superior movie theatres. Not only is the surround lacking but the overall volume is as well. Not bad if you're taking the kids to see a forgettable kids movie but if you're a serious film goer -- and especially if you're watching a blockbuster -- you should drive to Springfield and see it at a theatre there.

We came with our neighbors who come regularly. We got in line outside at 6:26 so that we could get a good spot in the yellow area for coffee up trucks.
