Strung me along for months. Asked me to contact him later in the week to pick yet another new date, then acted like he had never heard of me and that it was my first time calling. Professionalism is sorely lacking. Huge waste of my time. I would look elsewhere if you want a balloon trip. read more

History

Established in 1988.

Sky Sail Balloons Inc. was founded as Chautauqua Counties first Hot Air Balloon Ride and advertizing company. Other area ride operations have come and gone, yet they carry on. Sky Sailor II is a state of the art balloon manufactured in the United States, and carries a FAA standard airworthiness certificate, allowing for the carrying paid passengers. The balloon system is annually inspected by an FAA certified repair station that has been specifically trained an certified by the balloon manufacturer. Sky Sail is insured by a domestic AM Best A+ rated company.

Meet the Manager: Geoff T.

Sky Sail's chief pilot is Geoff who received his training in Albuquerque NM the undisputed world capital of Ballooning. Geoff received his pilot certification check rides from the late Sid Cutter the founder of the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque. Know in the Balloon Community through out the world as the Big One annually drawing over 600 Balloons of every shape size and color. Geoff is a know as a excellent amateur aviation meteorologist, and has served as weather officer, and Balloonmeister, for a number of events. Geoff suggests if you want a safe ride stay away form: bad pilots; bad weather, bad equipment, and power lines and antennas. He has a history of safe flying.
