I have used this salon several times myself and bring my disabled elderly aunt every 6 weeks for a pedicure and a fingernail clipping.They are always very kind and super gentle with my aunt. They have always made us feel welcome and well cared for. They do a great job over all. The salon is clean and maintained, and they have good hygienic practices. Bad customer service, unlicensed manicurist, very very un clean. The equipment looks gunky and there is spit/chewed food/gross stains from the public on every surface you and they touch. Even the powder looked dirty. I received the worst nail job ive ever seen (even on other people).If you get ron, save yourself by leaving, he looks unlicensed as well (clearly it shows). I paid 40$ for the most misshapen nails I've ever had or seen. Every nail has its on nail ugly shape. This is my 3rd TERRIBLE experience here. If im being honest, I haven't had 1 decent experience either. My nails look like trash. I've never had such a poor job done. Extremely disappointed. I asked for another layer of nail polish because he screwed up and left a big white discoloration under the polish from him putting on my full set. He said "no". I demanded he mixed my mistake. So he grabs some ugly color and puts it in my nails. My nails look so terrible, i just want to break them all off (bad doesn't even begin to describe how they look). read more

Sky nails it right next to rocklin high school in rocklin, California. I have been to this nail salon 1-3 times and it has been very below average regarding quality, cleanliness, and the employees additude and respect levels. I recently went with a friend of mine and the minute we sat down the service was not friendly and welcoming. They specifically ignored our questions and were not very welcoming. The pedicure itself was well done, I just would not recommend coming if you are expecting positivity and great customer service. read more

I got a nice pedicure here. However, I was supposed to get a pedicure and a manicure. When my pedicure was almost done, they told me they didn't know I wanted a manicure as well and that I would have to wait an hour to get my nails done, or come back another time! Sky Nails is fairly new, opened in July '14. The owner Kelsey does an excellent job ensuring the experience is comfortable and satisfying. The salon is very clean and relaxing. Today I had the deluxe pedicure with fresh orange and lavender foot scrub. It was amazing!!! I didn't feel they were in a rush to get the job done. It was nice and peaceful. I can't wait togo back! Friendly, dedicated staff who takes the time to pamper you! My daughter and like to do girls' night and get pedicures every now and again. We aren't regulars, but we have been to a few different nail salons in Rocklin. This one we are sticking to. The staff does an excellent job of pampering your feet and nothing felt rushed. The lovely skinny petite girl helped me...she was so polite, genuine and discounted my price for only $20. I took my daughter here for a pre-birthday treat. I called ahead of time and made an appointment. When I arrived, it was obvious that there wasn't enough staff to service everyone - something that was soon confirmed by the woman who appeared to be in charge. Three people were trying to help appointments and walk-ins, and the manager NEVER turned anyone away. As someone who made an appointment, I was very disappointed that i was made to wait for people who walked in without an appointment. Also, a man started my nails - which I do not like. The men tend to be heavy-handed and rough. This proved true when the man cut my finger. He tried to ignore the fact that my finger was bleeding - like I wouldn't notice the bright red blood. Then he poured the same blue stuff they soak their tools in on my finger! It burned so bad! He was reassigned to someone else. However, that made it worse for me because the manager took over, but was already helping two other people who were getting full services. She did my pedicure, and told me that when I come in next time I should get the more expensive pedicure for some of the treatments. Obviously she was letting me know that she wasn't going to offer me those same treatments then because she didn't want to take the time to do them. This was a lesson in poor customer service. Instead of being greedy and trying to take every dollar that came through the door at the expense of all else, they should have told me they could not do me at the time I called and asked for an appointment. I will NEVER go back and I certainly will not recommend this place. read more

Only reason for 4 stars is the polish smell was pretty strong...probably a combination of closed doors (warm day) and lots of customers (not a bad thing!). I went to get a pedicure yesterday, due to my feet are very dry. When I was finished I looked at my heels and they were nasty looking. They were not moisturized at all. I asked my nail tech to put some lotion on them. I thought she might get the clue that she did not do a good job. Getting a pedicure is about taking care of the feet. Less rubbing the legs and get the feet beautified! Oh yeah, and stop watching T.V. and pay attention to taking care of your client! read more
