I am ridiculously picky and was really frustrated by all of the 'pump and dump' nail salons out there. I may have just made up that term but most places do a super half-assed job in express mode. Well, I work with my hands and whatever I pay for a manicure...it needs to last. I was ecstatic to connect with Sing. Her level of detail was/is unparalleled. At the time I was only tending to my nails very sporadically. When I called to schedule an appointment I learned that she had opened her own place in Spring Valley. It's a farther drive for me but 100% worth it. Since finding Sing I will not go to any other studio regardless of price or convenience of location. In the last few years I have also become equally comfortable with Marie. These two ladies are 100% legit with their craft. Schedule an appointment.

The polishes they have are so cute and I love their punny names! The staff are all friendly and all pay attention to detail when it comes to nail art. Sing Sing is usually my "go-to" nail tech and she somehow always manages to get my nails to last long! Other places I've been to, my gel polishes tend to just peel right off in just about a week.

Both my daughter and I got pedicures and my daughter also got a manicure, no gel (my daughter is 10). They said they couldn't do a design on her nails cause she wasn't getting gel, they could only use stickers? My pedicure was mediocre, I've never had a tech immediately go in with an electric file. I guess she assumed I had gel on my toenails? I paid for the pamper me pedi, but it felt very basic. The pedicure itself was sloppy. My daughter's pedicure was good. However her manicure chipped in a day. I get that regular polish chips much more quickly than gel, but if they only want to work with gel polish, then they shouldn't offer regular polish. I was disappointed in the end. It felt like we were being penalized for not getting gel. Even though we had an appointment, I felt like we were in the way. I'm so sad, I really thought I had found my nail shop.

After I left, I noticed the pink shades used for my French tips don't match, one foot is a cooler pink (which was the intended color) and the other is noticeably warmer. It's a small detail, but for a $75 gel French pedicure, I would expect consistency.
