The hookah here is good. It's next door to a restaurant too, if you are hungry. There's actually many eateries around this lounge. The hookah lasts a long time. It's a good place to study during the week. The guys that work here are nice and they don't lag with changing the coal.

By far one of my favorite hookah lounges in San Diego, a great environment to have a good conversation with some friends, do some homework, or get an iced cold beverage, this place got great customer service! And they have really good prices. The staff is super friendly and professional. And of course their hookah is really good. In fact super good! Compared to lotta places in San Diego. To summarize this review I give this place 5 stars and I really recommend it :)! I can say I'm a satisfied customer.

I really like coming to Sky for their hookah. -The lounge is spacious -Decor is beautiful -Hookah is smooth -Customer service is great -Good music playlist (I always end up singing along, haha) -Price is fair -Plenty of parking Every time I've come here, its been pretty busy/ steady, I guess it's a good sign that people like this place. This place on top 5 list of all places to hang out with friends in San Diego area and I will tell you why it's very modern design both elegant and inviting. they have a great hookahs with different and competitive prices and also different coals are available and all the good Sheesha brand and flavors the have a great collection of soft and energy drinks and great variety of beers local and import and also snakes are available the parking lot is big and it's never hard to find parking in this area also you have a good restaurant next door and you can bring food and dine here if you want the crowd is nice and mixed different ages and different backgrounds also the customer service is great you never have to wait for coals always there is somebody passing it around and checking it for you the accept all kind of payment methods and the owners are very inviting and friendly. Honestly if you looking for a place to hang out and smoke hookah and have a good time it doesn't get better than that only few places in San Diego can pulled off like sky lounge that's why I'm a regular at this lounge .

The best hooka lounge in san diego ... they use the best tobaccos and service is great , the only missing thing is food , my favorite is gum mint ( traditional ) their to go fruit bowls are the best and the price is unbeatable just make sure that Nadir prepared you hooka and it will last forever .. for to go fruit bowl lemon mint is the best just make sure that the bowl head is pineapple.

This place is by far the best hookah lounge in San Diego. Why? If you're looking for the vibe, ambience, music, crowd, and the best hookah flavor, this is the right spot to be at. Nader the hookah master can make any mix you ask for. As for Sarmad the owner is so helpful and he makes sure that you are happy. That being said. What more you can ask? Quality is their style here and they are in fast progress as well. And btw there is a big parking lot outside.

There are no words to describe Sky lounge. First it's their Incredible Hookah, every single flavor you want it's here! Second, The entire Lounge is Extremely Clean! (you can literally eat off the bathroom floor). Third, the owners design a statics are impeccable, the attention to detail is remarkable! On top of that Sky Lounge offers Fantastic customer service! So, me and my boys stop by, and we are 4 in total. Two of my boys took a seat and me and my other friend went up to the register to order the hookahs.. the guy there asked me to check my ID which is understandable. He took my ID and he kept swiping it trying to figure out my age while it's clear I am over 21 since my ID is horizontal... while he was doing that his partner went up to my friends and checked their ID's and he tells me he needs to see my friends IDs, I told him that it's been checked already and he goes like,: "I need to see it again!".. it took this guy 20 mins trying to figure this whole thing out which made us get pissed and we left... straight up bullshit ! read more

I came here based on reviews, it was alright. Wasn't impressed with the music, it was a constant topic at our table. Hookah was good. Guy who brought our hookah didn't believe in ladies first. lol, which probably wasn't the best decision to reveal to the person leaving you a tip. My friends and I agreed we wouldn't come back here. The interior design was beautiful though. I recommend the Nara lounge in Kearny mesa. read more

I love this lounge. You never have to ask for charcoal, they are always on top of it. Their Hookah is hands down the best hookah in the County of San Diego. Their customer service is way above any other hookah lounge and I have been to most of them. read more

It start getting worst. I used to love to come there but not anymore. The costumer service is too bad. I dont recommend anymore. I went there for 4 day in row. Today I went at 5:58 pm and I asked for the happy hour deal but I didn't see the worker until 6:05. When I asked him to give me the deal, he didn't give me the deal because he said the time has been already passed. Anyway the hookah doesn't taste good because they mix hookah with any flavor. read more

I used to frequent this place till they asked my friends and me to leave the other night by the owner right after being seated by one of the lovely waitress but when I asked why the guy didn't know how to respond to me in English and someone else came out of the back and told me that every spot was reserved when they clearly had 3-4 couches available... Not cool, especially for someone that is a regular. I hate to give a 1 star but I won't be going back because I felt like I was disrespected. read more

So me and my friend were referred to this place by a good friend & young lady at the bar & register was very nice helped us choice what flavor. We choose our seating area and they brought over our bucket with beer and the hookah. Service is great they kept checking on our coils and our beers. Definitely recommend this place read more

The layout is nice, the staff is nice.... But... Hookah is just not that great. I've been to just about every lounge in San Diego county and the bowls here just don't flow. I've been here 3 times total and with so many other options close by, its not worth the price you're paying. Not to mention the fact that when you walk in everyone stares you down trying to figure out who you are and who you know. Several times I've had people intently stare at us listening to our conversations. 3 stars for the staff and their efforts but that's all. read more

If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would. My family and I visited from Arizona and were looking for a great hookah and so happy we came across this place. The last time I came here was around June of 2016. Around that time the age to purchase and use tobacco products in California was raised to 21, which meant my favorite hookah lounge was no longer an option. I waited 3 years to come back here, and on my 21st birthday (today) I walk in and hand the cashier my ID to examine and verify my age. As he did this I was taking time to admire the familiar, comfortable setting. I was excited. Then the teller abruptly says "I can't take this" and hands me my ID back. I pressed him for details-- I was using my ID for the past few hours at smoke shops and grocery stores to buy 21+ products, and this was the FIRST time I've had an issue. I have a legal California ID that I've been using for years. This ID has been seen by police, TSA, it's been used for doctors appointments, medication, and employment. In vain I asked if he could swipe it, but as this card was issued years ago the strip was perhaps worn out, either that or his machine wasn't working properly. The bar code does work but I don't think he had a scanner, as he was silent when I asked if he could scan it instead. Most importantly I wanted to know WHY he refused to serve me based on my ID, because if there is an issue with the legitimacy of my card I would like to know so I could go to the DMV to have it corrected. He declined to give me a reason for denying my card, only saying "I can't take this" multiple times before walking away. I'm still shocked. It pains me to leave this one star review for this otherwise great business, and I know that small businesses really rely on positive reviews for SEO. But this was an incredibly sour experience. For the past 3 years I have recommended people come to this establishment whenever they asked for my opinion on good lounges. I've been to a LOT of hookah lounges in San Diego and none of them were as good as this one. Now my recommendation will be "whatever you do stay away from Sky Lounge, their staff is unfriendly and unhelpful". Unbelievable. I am more than happy to update my review positively if I'm reached out to by the company, but at this point I don't have high hopes. Way to go, Sky Lounge, I'll make sure me and my friends avoid your establishment like the plague. read more

Typically the hookah is great here. Every now and then you will get a bad bowl but with as much as I come here, that should be expected. Their smoothies are outstanding and the atmosphere/decor is top notch. Buuuuuut please do better with changing out the coals. Our hookah always dies by the time new coals are brought around and it takes much effort to get them flowing again. read more

Easily my new favorite hookah lounge. Every time I find a good hookah lounge something happens to make me not want to return. I've been coming to this one for weeks now and have not had any bad experiences yet so am officemate giving my review! Their prices are average. They do have a happy hour which cuts a few bucks off the price. Their flavor selection is nice! Most importantly, their hookahs hit amazingly. They bring around coals on time, never had to get up and ask for them which is very nice. They even serve desserts, haven't tried any yet but they always look so yummy. Someday I will have to try something! Couches are comfortable. Bathrooms are always clean. Music selection is great and perfect volume so you can still have a nice conversation with your friends. Will continue to come to this lounge. Happy I found it! :) read more

This place is truly a gem! Not exactly hidden in Spring Valley, but it is the best bet for a good time, great atmosphere, and some smooth Shisha. The staff is great at just about any time of day and weather it is packed or they've just opened you get the same consistent and attentive service. I often come during happy hour and stay well into the night because the vibe is so relaxed and they've got pretty decent Wifi. This place really gets what a "lounge" is supposed to be and exemplifies that every chance they get, I cannot say enough good things about this place! read more

I went to this lounge last month and was very disappointed. I was with some friends and we were treated very disrespectfully. The cashier rolled her eyes at us and they would not let us sit on a couch. Ive been to multiple hookah lounges in San Diego and with all the options there are this is by far the worst. On multiple occasions I noticed people staring and listening in on our conversation which made me uncomfortable and I'm not sure why but I got light headed after being in there for a while. When I asked to speak with a manager a foreign guy yelled at me and didnt speak any English so he brought out another guy, who asked us to leave but had no explanation as to why. read more

For a Wednesday night they were quite busy, the spot provides free cards to play with and they play music (that's not too loud). Mostly you will hear the conversations everyone is having. We stayed 5 min and left and would recommend nobody come here for hookah. Trust me when I tell you all these 5 star reviews are fake and must be friends of owners. Just my 2 cents.

A server or servers have made it an ongoing practice to steal from their customers. The management of Sideways has been notified repeatedly of the issue (which has happened several times), and they are both unresponsible and hostile.

I could almost understand this behavior if I was a non tipper, but I had 2 beers and sat at the bar. And still tipped $4. Thats plenty. If you go to this bar beware.

One of the best Lounges I've been to , been here a couple of times with my friend. Their bowls are always on point and their hookahs are one of a kind. The bowls are packed to perfection and last an eternity !!! The crow seems older so everybody is more chill and relaxed ! Nothing too crazy which is perfect for smoking hookah. Plus they sell alcohol so if you want a beer to go with that perfect bowl you got it. Would recommend this place for sure if you're in the look out for some good tasting hookah !!!! read more

This place is terrible. The customer service is rude. Me and my friends brought backgammon and we sat outside to play. We were kicked out and we were told that we can't play. I am livid because of the tone that we were spoken to. This is discrimination. It's sad that I served in the military for years to come back to this discrimination. I WILL NEVER COME HERE. I cam in this past weekend with a friend and it was one of the cleanest places that I have been to. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the variety of tobacco served. Nadir was very friendly, but his service was kind of slow, it might be because it was a crazy night. My friend and I would definitely come back. read more

Tonight was the first time ive been here i really like it the lounge is great and the hookah's are great too and they have beer on tap which is great most lounges dont have that and they have outdoor seating so you can smoke your hookah outside im definitely will come back read more
