It start getting worst. I used to love to come there but not anymore. The costumer service is too bad. I dont recommend anymore. I went there for 4 day in row. Today I went at 5:58 pm and I asked for the happy hour deal but I didn't see the worker until 6:05. When I asked him to give me the deal, he didn't give me the deal because he said the time has been already passed. I used to frequent this place till they asked my friends and me to leave the other night by the owner right after being seated by one of the lovely waitress but when I asked why the guy didn't know how to respond to me in English and someone else came out of the back and told me that every spot was reserved when they clearly had 3-4 couches available... So me and my friend were referred to this place by a good friend & young lady at the bar & register was very nice helped us choice what flavor. The layout is nice, the staff is nice.... But... Hookah is just not that great. I've been to just about every lounge in San Diego county and the bowls here just don't flow. I've been here 3 times total and with so many other options close by, its not worth the price you're paying. Not to mention the fact that when you walk in everyone stares you down trying to figure out who you are and who you know. Sky Lounge - Hookah Bars Near Me - Spring Valley, California

The last time I came here was around June of 2016. Around that time the age to purchase and use tobacco products in California was raised to 21, which meant my favorite hookah lounge was no longer an option. I waited 3 years to come back here, and on my 21st birthday (today) I walk in and hand the cashier my ID to examine and verify my age. As he did this I was taking time to admire the familiar, comfortable setting. I was excited. Then the teller abruptly says "I can't take this" and hands me my ID back. I pressed him for details-- I was using my ID for the past few hours at smoke shops and grocery stores to buy 21+ products, and this was the FIRST time I've had an issue. I have a legal California ID that I've been using for years. This ID has been seen by police, TSA, it's been used for doctors appointments, medication, and employment. In vain I asked if he could swipe it, but as this card was issued years ago the strip was perhaps worn out, either that or his machine wasn't working properly. The bar code does work but I don't think he had a scanner, as he was silent when I asked if he could scan it instead. Most importantly I wanted to know WHY he refused to serve me based on my ID, because if there is an issue with the legitimacy of my card I would like to know so I could go to the DMV to have it corrected. He declined to give me a reason for denying my card, only saying "I can't take this" multiple times before walking away. I'm still shocked. It pains me to leave this one star review for this otherwise great business, and I know that small businesses really rely on positive reviews for SEO. But this was an incredibly sour experience. For the past 3 years I have recommended people come to this establishment whenever they asked for my opinion on good lounges. I've been to a LOT of hookah lounges in San Diego and none of them were as good as this one. Now my recommendation will be "whatever you do stay away from Sky Lounge, their staff is unfriendly and unhelpful". Unbelievable. I am more than happy to update my review positively if I'm reached out to by the company, but at this point I don't have high hopes. Way to go, Sky Lounge, I'll make sure me and my friends avoid your establishment like the plague. read more

Typically the hookah is great here. Every now and then you will get a bad bowl but with as much as I come here, that should be expected. Their smoothies are outstanding and the atmosphere/decor is top notch. Buuuuuut please do better with changing out the coals. Easily my new favorite hookah lounge. Every time I find a good hookah lounge something happens to make me not want to return. I've been coming to this one for weeks now and have not had any bad experiences yet so am officemate giving my review! Their prices are average. They do have a happy hour which cuts a few bucks off the price. Their flavor selection is nice! Most importantly, their hookahs hit amazingly. They bring around coals on time, never had to get up and ask for them which is very nice. They even serve desserts, haven't tried any yet but they always look so yummy. Someday I will have to try something! Couches are comfortable. Bathrooms are always clean. Music selection is great and perfect volume so you can still have a nice conversation with your friends. This place is truly a gem! Not exactly hidden in Spring Valley, but it is the best bet for a good time, great atmosphere, and some smooth Shisha. The staff is great at just about any time of day and weather it is packed or they've just opened you get the same consistent and attentive service. I often come during happy hour and stay well into the night because the vibe is so relaxed and they've got pretty decent Wifi. I went to this lounge last month and was very disappointed. I was with some friends and we were treated very disrespectfully. The cashier rolled her eyes at us and they would not let us sit on a couch. Ive been to multiple hookah lounges in San Diego and with all the options there are this is by far the worst. On multiple occasions I noticed people staring and listening in on our conversation which made me uncomfortable and I'm not sure why but I got light headed after being in there for a while. When I asked to speak with a manager a foreign guy yelled at me and didnt speak any English so he brought out another guy, who asked us to leave but had no explanation as to why. read more

Cool spot. My friend and I were looking for a chill spot to smoke some hookah and have a few beers. This place had really good reviews, so we came to check it out. The interior of this place is very modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and the guest service was great. One of the workers would come around every 15-20 minutes to change out the coals. It was $15 for a hookah, which is very fair. The Shisha never got harsh, which was awesome. We were smoking the same hookah for about an hour and a half. They have a lot of bottled beers, $4 for Corona, Blue Moon etc... and $6 for Sculpin and higher end beers. We ordered a bucket with 4 beers for $13. If you want to go to a chill spot for hookah, this is it. I'll defiantly be coming back to try the fruit bowls! read more
