We put our clothes in the washers they are not coin operated she starts them and then convinced us to leave and come back. It took awhile to figure out that it would be 2 1/2 hours. After eating an excellent Italian meal across the street we came back and half the clothes were already dry the other half in the driers. The cost for 4 loads was 34€. The washers are small and don't hold a lot. But we now have clean clothes to finish our stay in Garmish.

We worked past the language barrier with a smattering of my poor deutsch and the common language associated with the doing of laundry. When we came back 5 days later for another wash she pulled out the shirt, dried and folded, after we had forgotten it in a washing machine (had tried but was unable to contact us directly)! Going to a laundromat where an attendant is running the machines was a totally new experience and this woman made it special and especially effective.

We could not recommend anywhere else to go and get your clothes laundered. You can drop off clothes, do it yourself or a combination. She stayed and let us get some dinner before coming back.
