Met skip himself here over the weekend! Very friendly and welcoming while preparing beautiful funeral arrangements. Great Christmas options and will do wedding arrangements if you bring the ideas. Very well kept up after being around 40 years and smells of fresh flowers throughout. read more

Since I live in CA, and needed to send flowers for my aunt's service in Florida, Skip's was one of the florists that the church patronizes. I had seen a review with an arrangement that was what I was looking for and Skip helped me with my choices of flowers. He was very kind and helpful to this California girl. I totally appreciated him during a difficult time. I even asked he would send me a picture and it wasn't a problem. Thanks so much Skip! read more

Skip's Florist - Floral arrangement - Florists Near Me - Holiday, Florida

What a wonderful flower shop I found through Yelp!I live in Los Angeles County, CA and needed a sympathy arrangement for our family friend in Holiday, FL. I went through Yelp and found Skip's Florist. It deservingly has 5 stars and I know exactly why from my own experience. The customer service, the beautiful arrangement, the prompt service, ... everything was wonderful. The picture speaks for itself. From my phone call with Linda who helped me decide on the arrangement, to their beautiful work thanks to Skip's artistry with the flowers, all I can say is thank you! I wished they were in LA so I can use them more often. Thank you Skip's Florist. read more

Skip's Florist - Sympathy Bouquets: Hearts in Heaven - Florists Near Me - Holiday, Florida

I've used Skip's for 30 years for special occasions & Christmas flowers because they can get not so common flowers you find at Publix or Trader Joe's. My husband ordered some dendrobium orchids for our anniversary last week and they were dropping buds within 3 days, they should last 2-3 weeks. My husband stopped by and they kindly offered to arrange a replacement. He showed up w/yellow chrysanthemums , white baby daisies and yellow roses, pink snapdragons w/some alstroemeria's. Orchids are exotic and unusual...why would they replace the arrangement made w/common flowers in yellows for an anniversary? Disappointed. read more

I send my mom flowers and plants using Skip's and they have a great selection to choose from. Very helpful over the phone in describing the options. Reliable, on time delivery. She sends me photos and the flowers and plants are always lovely. I definitely recommend Skip's! read more

Well, make sure you show the recipient what you received! It may be a surprise to the person. What was paid for and what was received may differ, as was the cost. Oh! Mr. Skip can be quite abrasive! Would not use them if order is not seen. He may work for local...orders.....! read more

Skips Florist in Holiday, FL has the largest selection in Christmas and holiday decorations in their Christmas shop. I received a beautiful Autumn centerpiece in October, and received a gift certificate to buy my Christmas needs. I couldn't be prouder of my beautiful Christmas seashell door wreath. Skip and his staff are the nicest people and so accommodating, I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Maryann Stevens read more

Skip and his staff did the arrangements for my mothers funeral. The spray for the casket was stellar. The grand kids arrangement played off the color scheme nicely. I could not have asked for a pretty tribute to my mother. Many of our family used Skip as well and all their arrangements were beautiful. He does not skimp and uses the freshest flowers. He felt like family with the attention to detail he used in everything he made for her. read more

My family tried to send me Mother'a Day flowers which turned out to be a disaster. The delivery girl was "totally put out" because I was not home. She would not deliver them to my mother's house who lived 5 min. away. She was so rude. They should have tried to deliver them to a neighbor. When we called the business, they blew us off like we were not important. I do not recommend this business for anything! Very rude and do not care about the customer! read more

I've used a florist a few times to send flowers to friends/family, Skips has always gone above and beyond with all the requests I've had. My sister and her date needed a corsage and boutonniere day before prom and they where both beautiful and tasteful. (And a few $ cheaper than the florists around!) Beautiful arrangements and they are just a great family owned florist that listens and has great end products! 5* because it's hard to find great people that really care with quality flowers! (I feel like the flowers even last a bit longer than others I've had!) read more

I had a unique request and delivery to a special little girl who just finished chemo. Thank you so much for making this little girls day!!!! I would highly recommend this Florist. They went up and beyond!!! read more

I can't say enough about Skips, and specifically, Linda. I am new in town and was getting married so I used a florist near me (not Skips). Well, my wedding day came and I went to pick up my bouquet, and SHE DIDN'T MAKE IT! Also did the have any flowers I had asked for. So I call Skips and Linda was SO helpful! She gave me the flowers I needed for my hair, and brought me back to the cooler to pick out flowers I liked for the bouquet. Within a couple hours, my bouquet was ready, and I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. I only wish i had known about Skips to begin with. I will ALWAYS use Skips, and will always refer anyone else there. One of the first things anyone says about the wedding pictures, is how obsessed they are with the bouquet! read more

I own a Florist in Andrews NC and Skip's went above and beyond to make sure order was delivered. Customer had given wrong info...

Skip is the most amazing part of Skip's. I can usually spend over an hour looking at everything when I go there. He has helped me out when I have been in a pinch with my village more than once. He always makes time for his customers. I recommend Skip's to everyone. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. read more

I have tried to send flowers in the past to the area and found no need to look further than Skip's. They have always helped me even if it was out of the normal delivery area. Higher fee for delivery yes, but WELL WORTH IT! Every time I use them I always get rave reviews from the people I have sent it too. I know your results will be just as fantastic as mine. read more
