Next Memory was high on my list of shopping when visiting Lisbon. I found out about this place…read morethrough TikTok and while I normally take those recommendations with a grain of salt, this place actually lived up to the hype. It's located inside a small, historic building that used to be an old pharmacy. They have a limit for the number of customers inside at a time due to the small space. We were able to walk in fairly quickly though after waiting behind the velvet rope. I knew exactly what I wanted - the custom travel size perfume case. I got to pick out the color leather I liked and get my initials embossed on the cap. I also chose one of their signature fragrances to add to it, the Purple Fig scent. The travel perfume case comes with an empty bottle and "adapter" piece which allows you to pump your favorite full size perfume into the small travel size bottle for the case. For the custom case and the small Purple Fig fragrance, it was about $70, if I'm remembering correctly. It's well made and such a nice memory from our time in Lisbon. They also have solid perfume which can be customized plus, tea and a make your own fragrance option. The staff was all really friendly and helpful too.

Some things are a bit overpriced but a lot of the specialty food items are pretty reasonable. Some were even cheaper than other stores, like the tinned sardines/cod. I ended up getting a few of those, as well as some Portuguese sea salt to give as gifts. It's a lovely store if you're looking for something nice to give to someone, without breaking the bank.

When I visited a store location I was told they had a poster online but not stocked in the store. So when I got home I ordered it online. The order unexpectedly took MONTHS, their customer service was very unresponsive to emails, and after I received the order it was an entirely DIFFERENT poster that I did NOT order and even the size was wrong. The order was a single product and it was fulfilled completely wrong. Customer service was very slow and unresponsive to assist, and only after almost going to my credit card company for a resolution did they refund my card but only PARTIALLY. To this day they have not clarified if the poster can still be ordered or when it would be available. It shows 'in stock' on the website, but the reason for the wrong shipment was supposedly because they don't actually have it in stock. All very confusing, all very disappointing and frustrating. I will not shop here ever again despite many of their products being quite compelling.
