To preface, I'm an American that speaks Polish. When I first walked in I was very impressed by the variety of clothing. I found a pair of shoes for my boyfriend (who doesn't speak polish) however, when I asked a question about the shoes (in Polish) I was met with a rude attitude and I was told "stop talking (in Polish) and let me finish." I am pretty proficient in Polish and his reply was completely unwarranted. At first I thought that maybe it was because It was a cultural difference but when my boyfriend began talking to the man (in English) the man's demeanor completely changed and my boyfriend was treated nicely and with respect.
