Dr Ugolini is a Breast Surgeon for NHS and her professionalism shows. My whole experience was Fab. I am very pleased with my treatment. Will defiantly go back

**This review is to warn people - particularly those with darker skin tones** as I received burns…read moreto my legs after laser hair removal treatment at this clinic. They have been reported to Trading Standards and I am seeking legal action. On 9/10/21 I went to my 5th session of laser hair removal at the clinic. I had never had any issues previously at this clinic or at other clinics. This time the clinician was running 20 minutes late for my session and was in a rush. She started to use a new machine (with gel that I had never used before). When I enquired about the new machine she said it was quicker and less painful. She did not test this new machine on my skin. It was, however, excruciatingly painful and I was in a lot of pain for the whole day, requiring painkillers. The following morning I found that there were burn marks all over both my legs. When I sent photos to the clinic they told me that they were not burns but mild irritation. I visited my GP who confirmed that they were burns and prescribed me a cream. 4 months later I have unsightly scars on both my legs secondary to these burns. I have taken it up with a no-win-no-fee claim who unfortunately is having difficulty in finding the company or individual behind the clinic in order to sue. Initially, letters were 'Returned to Sender.' I then hand delivered the letter and could see that the clinic is still open and functioning as normal. They finally responded to my solicitor's email saying that they changed management the month following the incident and do not have the details of the previous management and that they would regard any further attempts to contact them as harassment. I do not regard this as a safe place for customers to go. Not only did they burn me, but they failed to take my complaint seriously or recognise that I had been burned. I might add that I have a dark skin tone so burns may appear slightly different than on white skin - so I do view this as a racial issue as well. I was not able to complete my course and they have not refunded me any money. I do not believe they have the competence to be using such equipment or to deal with the risk and complications involved with that equipment. I do not feel that other customers (particularly those of darker skin tone) are safe in going to this clinic. I might add that I am a practicing doctor myself and their conduct really does concern me greatly. I also feel that their subsequent conduct in trying to dodge the legal process has been particularly appalling. I have reported them to Trading Standards.

The therapist will usually come out to meet you which is a good job as you probably wouldn't find the therapy rooms on your own! The place looks a little tatty when you first walk in but the treatment room is actually very spacious and provides a relaxing environment. I had a back, neck and shoulder massage here courtesy of Living Social. My therapist was very professional, took a full medical history and talked me through what she was going to do, and afterwards talked to me about problem areas she had discovered. I felt very revitalised after my treatment and would definitely go back, even without a discount voucher.
