Surprised, I showed her our message exchange in which we'd scheduled for exactly that day and time. She said she never received a reminder message from me, so she wasn't ready. I said I didn't realize that I, as the client, should be sending the photographer a reminder message. Or at least if she required a reminder message, she could've asked for that when we initially spoke. Of course I'm unlikely to reschedule now, as I can't again take time out of my workday for an appointment she may not keep. Have never had such an unprofessional or confusing experience with a photographer.
