Gillian refused to honor the groupon and I had 2 days to find another photographer for my son's birthday. FUN! It looks as though she didn't think the money $75 groupon for 1 hour was enough for her efforts? I felt so stupid. It seemed to me by the way she treated me that she was immature and unreliable... and since she said she didn't care if I gave her a bad review. Here it is...Then she went to her facebook account to bad mouth me and call me names and tell her friends a different story.... here is what she posted: "...Then told me I'm unprofessional and to expect a negative review. OK but she's gonna be in for a surprise when she realizes Groupon won't let you leave a review until the voucher is redeemed. Also lol fuck off" A lot of integrity huh, Gillian?. And then Gillian posted this: "She left me a review on thumbtack..... Which i don't even use. Plus I can post a response to her review, which I did. Lol. Bitch". I have print screen of everything Gillian -- you can delete it now, but I have the history. This is Rochester -- a small city being professional is very important. It seems very naive of you to go to you friends and potential clients on Facebook to badmouth a customer... and I don't care. But your reputation should. Surprised, I showed her our message exchange in which we'd scheduled for exactly that day and time. She said she never received a reminder message from me, so she wasn't ready. I said I didn't realize that I, as the client, should be sending the photographer a reminder message. Or at least if she required a reminder message, she could've asked for that when we initially spoke. Of course I'm unlikely to reschedule now, as I can't again take time out of my workday for an appointment she may not keep. Have never had such an unprofessional or confusing experience with a photographer.
