Worst dinner ever! I used to love going to this location, but I think this was my last visit. I ordered steak & half a dozen shrimp, my husband ordered a classic trio, & my sister-in-law ordered steak & all-you-can-eat shrimp. There were no extra shrimp in my sister-in-law's order & her baked potato was old, there was no maple butter for my yam, and all three steaks were tough & had a lot of gristle. Oh, & cocktail must be worth its weight in gold. When I went & got the missing items, I told one (of three) managers there, that now I would go home & eat my dinner after I heated it up in the microwave. He just laughed & said "sorry." They were definitely not busy enough to have three managers (as well as the two servers) working & having the orders not be perfect. read more

What a joke! First off, $16 for the lunch salad bar, didn't realize until after I paid. Shame on me. But the selection was even worse than the price. Only 1/4 soups were labeled, and EVERYTHING on the hot bar was cold at best. Not to mention the ice cream machine wasn't working so they gave us some tiny little hospital ice cream cup. My husband and I decided to eat here after staying away for 2-3 years. We both ordered the steak with side salad combo. The salad was really good due to the great selection of toppings, and the steak and baked potato were delicious as well. Christmas lunch with friends at Sizzler, Banning We have been supporting this Sizzler for many years and even though we have had a few "questionable" meals that we won't order again, we continued to go back. We recently heard that this Sizzler was now charging a "surcharge" but not informing customers at the time of order. Yesterday we we went with some friends and sure enough on the bill was a 3.5% surcharge. No one would answer our question about what the charge was for. It's terrible that if the owner/manager is upset for what the Governor did that resulted in lost revenue during COVID to Sizzler that they would try to make it up on the backs of loyal customers. That's our final trip to this restaurant for us and we will be be putting a notice in our community newsletter letting everyone know. read more

First time back since pre-covid. Prices are really high. $17 for the salad bar? $30 for the steak and lobster? Excellent staff, but really high because the steaks are terrible quality. We both ordered a steak, a sirloin for $17, med rare was bloody and TOUGH!! Unedible, stringy, could not chew it. The steak with the tiny lobster tail for $30 appeared to be the same kind of steak and med well was red and had blood too. Also extremely tough. Waitress could see our cut open, untouched steaks and did ask about it. She offered new steaks, very nice. We took one, but it was the same type again. My husband and I enjoy the food here. We usually visit every few weeks. The service is excellent. Even on busy days, food is delivered in a timely manner, and the staff are very positive. The ambiance, however, is not very relaxing. Most of the time, there are children playing with the ice cream machine and screaming. I think there should be a policy where any outrageous disruption should not be tolerated. Or I guess let the parents know to control their kids, lol. read more

Today was probably the best Sizzler experience my family and i have ever had. The steaks were actually very good! And the crispy shrimp was done perfectly. The salad bar was fully stocked and everything looked and tasted fresh. On top of that, the service was great too. Our server Erin was on top of our needs before i could even wave her down. I'm not a fan of this place. But when it's late and we don't know what to eat, we go here. I just do the salad bar. But both times I've been here, I've had the same server and she's this super sweet gal. Cannot remember her name but she's super nice, always says "hi family". The salad bar is interesting. They have salad stuff (the beets are not pickled). But also on the salad bar, they have a taco bar and like a pasta bar. And like chicken wings and onion rings. And it's all you can eat. So this is where I get my fat kid on. The quality of the food is not great, but when you're super hungry, anything will do. But the service is always good, super fast and they're good about always re-filling my water haha read more

Props to Chef Hector. He cooked the best well done steak that I ever had at a Sizzlers. The steaks were equivalent the Yardhouse and Babes BBQ ribeye steaks. They were tender, juicy and flavorful. I was impressed by how friendly the WHOLE staff was and how clean the dining room was kept. We ordered the seafood sampler (shrimp 3 ways), surf and turf, and ribs. Everything was hot and delicious. Went to Sizzler with the in-laws and the wife. The food was alright and endless shrimp and steak worked for me. Now the reason for the review was the service. The service was great and that is what would bring us back. The young man named DJ was excellent. His sense of humor and approachability was amazing and very rare in todays time. I would recommend the Sizzler in Banning. Lots of room to park and the dining hall was large enough to keep all safe during this Covd time. Plus their salad bar looked really nice. read more

Four of us seniors went to Sizzler and not expecting anything extraordinary because of the long shutdown caused from the COVID situation. We went on early Saturday night and enjoyed the steaks and chicken plates that we were served and had a pleasant time. The crowd was moderate but the line seemed to move slow for the number but people. We are all trying to return to normal after the long shutdown and now employee shortage. A great surprise was the unexpected open salad bar and everyone liked it. We hope they can keep this salad bar open but who knows what will happen next? I rarely give 5 stars but think Sizzler Banning is doing their best to try and return to normal. read more
