If I could make this 0 stars I would. Wrong car, an employee who lied directly to my face, and outrageous repair charges.
We arrived at the Sixt location around 50 min after the time entered for pickup and the location was closed. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to return, we called the number and were told to wait another 30 minutes until someone could come back. After waiting we were given keys and went to the car. Upon inspection the car had major damage from a scratch collision and was not the class of vehicle we had reserved. We asked if another car was available and were told that no other car was available because we arrived 1 hour past our entered time. After I asked why that was relevant the employee said after 1 hour the reserved car can be given away. I clarified that we arrived to an empty office after 50 minutes and that no other customers had been served before us so it is impossible that the car requested was given away after the 1 hour limit. The employee was not helpful at all and lied to me by claiming to have been in the office and available at a time past when we arrived to the Sixt location. Out of frustration and wanting to move along with my trip I accepted the car. Sixt customer service was contacted but had no response.
After driving the car for 1 day, we noticed the tire starting to go flat and we got a new car from a different Sixt branch. Sixt then charged us over $570 to replace ONE TIRE.
