This is the place to go to when you are in Mexico and you want to buy alcohol to take back to the…read morestates. Never buy alcohol from duty free, it's to expensive! When you do the math ( exchange rate) and the cost in the states for a bottle of tequila, it will be $10-15 less. It also helps if you are further south in Mexico, the prices are better!

The tequila shop on the corner is MIND BLOWING - they have hundreds of bottles, maybe thousands? I picked up a few hard-to-find tequilas and agave distillates. Prices seemed reasonable enough. The candy shop (down the street a bit, opposite side) is nice too and I purchased a small sampling of Mexican chocolates to bring home to my non-tequila sipping compadres. Nuestros Dulces seems like well-run, local shops with good selections. 5 stars
