    Batman ride

This place blew our expectations through the roof! The entrance is old and we honestly didn't know what we were getting ourselves into, but the rides where well taken care of and many of them new or updated, their food and beer were all very reasonably priced. The places has some really good rides! I would highly recommend the flash pass as it will help you get through the lines (each line was about 40-60 minute wait and we got through within a max of 2-5 minute). We love the front of the roller coasters, so we did spend some extra time waiting for the front, but that only took about 10-15 minutes once we were through the main line, which I will definitely take! Top Rides: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Boomerang, and MEDUSA!! Above all else, you have to do Medusa!! It is honestly one of the best and smooth rides I have ever been on, if not the best. Mind blown! Definitely recommend going here! We had an absolute blast of a day!

Lined up for almost an hour for these crispy onion rings.

We decided to visit the park on this very busy Monday since the museums were closed in Mexico City. We got a ride from Zona Rosa through Uber and paid about 8usd for a 30min ride. At the park, we were welcomed by long long long lines of people trying to get tickets. The lines didn't seen to progress that well. So we looked for options. We realized that buying 4 annual passes was relatively cheap compared to a day pass. Day pass for adults 539peso and 300+ for kids. Annual Gold pass 539peso across the board. But the annual pass was available for online purchase and allowed us to skip the very long lines. Thanks to Rafael, who was one of the English -speaking staff, who helped us figure out our best option. Once in, we were welcomed by very friendly staff, who helped us get our cards activated. And we were informed that the pass also works in other Six Flag parks, except for the aquatic and safari. The food that we had in the park was terrible! And the lime up was crazy long! But there was no other option to eat elsewhere. But there was a food tuck that sold good chili dog in the park. The best experience we had was with the Dolphin encounter. We used our annual pass booklet's discount coupon of $450 (peso) to swim and $300 to touch these great creatures. It was a unique and exciting experience. I got to kiss, shake fins, and pet Angelito. And Dory gave me my first Dolphin water skiing experience. I would highly recommend it. Hugo gave us a good deal with our digital photos. We got all our digital photos for all 4 of us for 1,100peso, which was normally 900 each. The rides were secondary compared to the Dolphin experience.

The Six Flags Mexico employees are a bunch of thugs.

Six flags Mexico treated us horrible. In six flags San Antonio we were allowed to bring a bag no problem just had to put them in the bins, here in Mexico six flags we were told we can bring in a water bottle and a bag then we tried to go to the first ride but they said no bags allowed. We tried to go back to the car to leave the bag and come back in, but they said they couldn't let us back in if we leave even though they wouldn't let bags in the ride and the lockers don't accept card, plus the doorman was so rude and so was his manager. In San Antonio six flags they let you in and out, but we were just trying to leave the bag in the car. So we turned the bag into a Fanny pack and they allowed it even though they had bins to put things in and has an announcement that said please put bags, backpacks, hats in bins and they said we can use bag for the water bottle just can't leave any personal items, so I put my cell phone, wallet, keys, charger in my pocket and they said it's fine next ride they were fine with it too. The third ride they said we can't go in with a water bottle even though the past two rides let us. We were six feet apart and we took of our masks off momentarily to drink water from the water bottle to dispose of it before we got to the ride and the attendant called security and the general manager supposedly and he said we couldn't go in with water so we threw away the water bottle, then he said we couldn't go in with a Fanny pack when everyone else had one, so we emptied the Fanny pack folded it and put it in my pocket and he said we still couldn't go on the ride, we threw the Fanny pack away and he said it doesn't matter you can't ride and you have to leave the park because you don't want to follow the rules, when we literally did everything he said. We gladly left but I wanted I refund for my membership because of the way we were treated from when we came in till we were kicked out for bringing in a Fanny pack, when others had a Fanny pack as well. Then after being escorted by security and the police to the membership desk, they membership rep said that he was the general manager, I don't understand how there can be two general managers and they canceled my membership with no refund because we took of our masks just for a moment and I asked him if he would kick out someone for taking off there mask momentarily once and he said no and I asked then why us and he had no response. This is true we did take off our masks to drink water, but they never told us we couldn't drink water, if not we wouldn't have taken off our masks besides the fact that the other general manager promised us a refund, we love six flags but six flag Mexico is just a horrible experience and should be decommissioned from the brand, never coming back again to six flags Mexico again.

The park is relatively small compared to other parks in the US. In addition, I purchased a salad from here today and noticed it tasted a bit sour. Surely enough, I discovered on the bottom a sticker that said it had been made two days ago. Unbelievable! I will not be purchasing food from here anymore.

Do not go on rainy days, they will close the rides. In summer it rains almost every day. No refund on your ticket.

Thanks to Yelp, we found Jardines de Mexico during an early October stay in Cuernavaca and…read moreXochitepec. Aside from the wedding were in town for, Jardines de Mexico was the highlight of the trip! It exceeded my expectations and was worth the time to get out there, walk the grounds for about two hours, and frantically get back to the hotel for our friend's wedding. Honestly, I wish we could have stayed longer. Thought to be the largest garden in the world, Jardines de Mexico spans more than 51 hectares (~126 acres), located near the southwestern side of Lake Tequesquitengo. It features seven large-scale thematic gardens inspired by the design, flora, and essense of different countries. There's the cactus garden, the Japanese garden, the tropical garden, the "Labyrinth of the senses," the four seasons garden, "ConSentidos," and my unexpected favorite - the Italian garden. We almost dismissed the Italian garden because we didn't know what to expect other than statues and maybe some tall Italian Cypress trees. My breath was *literally* taken away when we walked up the steps and overlooked the grand balcony and WOW. The view. Do not miss this garden. Another favorite of mine was the Japanese garden, along with the tropical garden. Engulfing yourself in nature - the plants, the flowers, the butterflies, the water elements - is a nice reprieve from the city. A lovely way to recharge and also get grounded. Not that some gardens might be closed due to maintenecnce. A few gardens we passed through were prepping for private events (yes. they do private events such as weddings and corporate gatherings). They also host large-scale events, like concerts, and seasonal events (for the holidays). Admission is $275MXP for visitors (13+), $225 seniors, and $125 for children (3 to 12 years). They offer a 20% ticket discount for locals of Morelos and teachers. You can buy tickets online or at their ticket office. Wear comfy shoes, a hat (not sure if they allow umbrellas), sunscreen, sunglasses, up to one 1L bottled water, and a charged phone for pics! Pros: o There are shuttles/trams that take you to different parts of the park, even if it's over the next garden (which is still a walk). o It's dog-friendly! There are cooling off/wading pools throughout the park in the warmer months, and also doggy water stations. o There is plenty of parking, and the covered parking area is provided by mixed use solar panels (shade for patrons and energy for the park!). o There are onsite restaurants and cafes, plenty of restrooms, some seating areas along the walking paths, a gift shop, and an art gallery. What needs some improvement: o They need more signage. You can easily get lost. o There are no rideshares around, nor a line of taxis to get you out. If you call for a taxi, expect it to arrive within 45 min. Pet policy: o $70 admission fee, and one dog per adult o Must wear a leash at all times; no retractable leashes allowed o No dog food for sale, so bring your own. o Clean up after your pet.

This place is beautiful, this is a good trip if you wan to get away from the city to spend a day…read morewalking around beautiful gardens and enjoy the warm weather. The restaurant experience was OK but we asked at the entrance if they have other options in addition to the buffet and they said that we could order from their regular menu but when we got to the actual restaurant they said that the buffet was the only option if we wanted to eat. The food was OK but they took a while to refill some of the dishes. We were lucky to get there before a huge group so we were able to get enough food. The buffet is a little expensive for locals but it is worth if you are hungry and can take advantage of the variety of options. There are several gardens including Japanese, Italian, tropical and cacti. I was a little disappointed when they confirmed two of the exhibitions were closed but the ones that were opened were really nice. Since we visited during Christmas time, they also had a special event with dance and performances. There were several vendors selling food and souvenirs including free coffee if you posted a picture on their social media. There was also a nice touch at the end where you could grab a free plant to take home. I would like to go back to visit the gardens that were closed.
