Being from out of state, she worked around our schedule to find slots to take our engagement photos and was super quick whenever I had a question arise. Her style and eye is great and she has a way to capture photos without them being too posed. I have heard horror stories of weddings where the bride and groom waited months to get back their photos, not only did Laurie get us a couple photos in a few days for some thank you cards... but she delivered the rest way faster than we expected. She plans out the shot list with you advance, and this helps tremendously to get a sense of timing for your event and when and where people need to be. We were both very happy to find her. And we enjoy looking back at our photos and framing them around the house.

I was pleasantly surprised. It can be awkward taking engagement/wedding photos, but she did an awesome job of making us feel comfortable and basically telling us what to do(we were the type of couple that needed that!) ;) She has an eye for capturing unique photos, but was also more than willing to create photos from ideas we gave her also. I liked that she asked us beforehand if there was special moments on our wedding day that we wanted to make sure she didn't miss, or certain things we wanted her to focus on more than others. We ended up with a TON of amazing photos that we will treasure for years to come. I highly recommend Jami Marie Photography!

When I saw that her and her husband Steve started Savstrom Studios together I had to follow them on Instagram. It was clear from the beginning that they have an incredible talent and a beautiful vision for the couples they work with. Truthfully my husband and I never had the intention to hire a videographer for our wedding, we didn't think we would need it. Colleen and Steve posted a giveaway on their Instagram that we signed up for and won in addition to another couple. After everything was said and done we are so happy and grateful we signed up. The experience we had with Savstrom studios was incredible, they were so easy to work and plan with. Our videos are one of our most treasured keepsakes from our wedding. We will enjoy watching them for years to come! Thank you so much Colleen and Steve for your beautiful design and vision!

Last summer for a newborn/family photo session and more recently a mini session with our son at 10 months. She has a great eye and produces the most beautiful and natural photos. When we first contacted her to photograph our newborn, I had no idea that newborn photography needed to be booked out in advance (first time mom here!). She kindly made herself available last minute, on the weekend, nonetheless, when it was best for our family. Then, during our last session (the mini) she kindly extended our time free of charge as she had a cancellation in the spot after us. After the photos came in and I got knit-picky about how my cleavage looked in my favorite family photo she so very patiently and graciously edited out and made it look ten times better (I could not emphasize just how patient she was with me about this - thank you, Rebeccah!). She incredibly talented and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

She gave me all kinds of great tips and recommendations. Because of the venue I got married at, there was no dressing area for me to hide in, so I didn't arrive at the wedding until it was time to walk down the aisle. I hadn't seen the venue decorated until then. I could not stop looking around. She made my wedding more beautiful than I imagined it would. If she was stressed out, it didn't show.
