Rich chocolate with choke fulls of pistachios, hella crispy kadayıf that generate curiosities from other dept. cubicles (bring ya plates). Strong Turkish coffee that foretells you how the day will go, provided on the house on a missed order registry, was another gesture itself verifying the welcomes you'd receive from the most courageous people on this planet. Sipping on it and sitting on their beautiful benches on a hot, dry day, daydreams you into how it would feel in their lands they will retrieve soon. Blows its competition in Johns Creek bloody hungry for moolahs by 27K sq km. Good job, habaibi -

I finally checked out Wowbooza during my several visits around this location. It's one of those…read moreplaces that feels like dessert with a personality. The big draw here is their booza (a stretchy Turkish/Middle-Eastern ice cream), and it really does live up to the hype - chewy, creamy, and not overly sweet, which makes it dangerously easy to keep going back for another bite. We have tried the Kunafa with ice cream, and that combo of warm, crispy pastry and cold, silky booza is honestly the star of the show. Kunafa for those who don't know is shredded phyllo dough which is layered with cheese and baked to give it that crispy texture yet having the stretchy pull from the cheese. The combination of this savory Kunafa with the booza really makes it a delectable combo. The Turkish + Dubai chocolate Kunafa (half and half) has been my favorite but they have a few options to try. They also server Dubai chocolate and strawberry cups, which seem to be extremely popular too. We've tried their chai (tea) and Turkish coffee and all I can say is that I am hooked. The vibe is lively and a little crowded at peak times, but in a good way - it feels like everyone is there for the same sugar fix. Staff was friendly and happy to explain the menu, which helps if you're new to these kinds of desserts. Service can vary depending on how busy it is, but overall it's worth the stop. If you go in expecting something different from your usual ice cream shop, you'll probably leave impressed (and slightly obsessed with that stretchy texture).

We had ordered two pies. One meat one cheese. Both were good. Definitely would buy again. It was nice to see a lot of beef only items and hope we see more of it the more we go. We're very happy we found this place so close to home. Hope they keep this up and we will be there weekly.

This review is based on my first visit to locate a different Bulgarian yogurt. PSA - It's a retail shop NOT a wholesale as it's incorrectly categorized...I've put in a correction to Yelp but we all know how that goes... + Ambiance is a slow south eastern European grocery shop with a pre-occupied cashier on her phone. A handful of well-organized aisles filled with dry goods, pottery, refrigerated goods in along the walls and a small over the counter deli in the back. + Food is imported goods from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey, Greece and others around southern Baltic Sea. I found interesting condiments, pates, coffees, teas, nectars, cheese, salami, sweets and tchotchkes. In the back they have a small deli with varieties of fresh feta (goat, sheep and cow), olives and fresh made baklavas and other sweets (unknown to me). They also make a handful of inexpensive sandwiches. Unfortunately for me though, they were out of Bulgarian yogurt that I made the trip for. ++ Price is very reasonable. They accept credit cards. + Service was humorous and was friendlier than Hong Kong. The lady behind the deli was older who didn't speak English well and was helpful. The cashier in the front who looked to be in her late 30s was glued to her phone, crouched on a stool, aloof when I asked about the (missing) prices on jars of peppers but came back to tell me the price a few minutes later. She obviously understood and spoke more English but couldn't be bothered to speak...much. + Parking is free and shared with other shops. Over all, it's an interesting little import grocer and a fun place to find southern Baltic foods!
