I'm 30 and, with a few exceptions while I was living out of the area, have been going to Styles in…read moreMotion since I was at least 6 years old. Nancy Miller and her stylists are absolutely wonderful. Always friendly and they do a fantastic job. I always enjoy myself when I'm there. The biggest thing I love about this salon is that my stylist (Mindy, Nancy's daughter) actually listens to what I want. Then she gives me good, honest feedback about how she thinks it would look. In just about every other salon I've been to, the stylist has listened to what I asked for, and then done something completely different -- generally whatever it was she wanted to do. With "chain" salons, I found that the stylists really had only mastered a handful of styles. That doesn't happen at Styles in Motion. I'm always pleased with my cut and color. If you're looking for an affordable salon with friendly, creative stylists who are really good at what they do, don't hesitate to check out Styles in Motion (located near the old Allegheny #1 school).

Waxing is not painful if done correctly and here it is definitely not done correctly or she needs much more training.
