This is a group of experts in extracting profit by exploiting deadline and false hope. During the mass delay in USCIS processing of employment based green card since Oct 2020, this group of lawyers sets up a mass "litigation" against USCIS in August 2021 as a show to push USCIS to speed up the processing. Some clients have inquired Gregory Siskind about taking actions earlier, but they rejected the idea, saying there is no legal basis. They waited till the last minute near the visa expiration of 9/30/2021 when people are desparate. Also, since any legal action can take a long time, starting late means they have the excuse of taking limited or no more actions past expiration.
Initially they charge $2000 to join the mass case. Near the end of the sign up deadline, they jack up the attorney fee from $2000 to $2500 by extending the deadline of signup.
You can find reliable and successful lawyers for typical mandamus case in the range from $2000-$3000. For the original fee they charged, they are doing 1/200 the effort for each plaintiff, because they do not work on any individual details, just one group litigation.
Here is the quality of the actual service they provide: Joseph left the case after just one hearing with the judge, grossly underprepared and being silenced by the judge. Greg took a vacation at the most important moment of the case near the end of the fiscal year of 2021 in Sep. On 9/29/2021, the judge ruled to separate all the cases to the federal courts covering the area where each case is currently pending. On the last day of the fiscal year 9/30/2021, they filed hundreds of template cases for each plaintiff individually. In the public broadcast on Youtube, they promised to fight after 9/30/2021. Will the court address these hundreds of spam litigation BEFORE the start of the new fiscal year on 10/1/2021? Of course not. On 10/6/2021 in a private zoom call, they forced the plaintiff to sign an agreement to drop the case, or continue on an individual basis for an exorbitant $5000. All of those subsequent individual cases are essentially moot as well.
All this team of lawyers accomplished was to flood the legal record system with hundreds of template case information that does absolutely nothing, while they pretend they have done a lot for the plaintiffs. The successful 30 cases out of 200 total were transferred to the field office already, which means they are in the final pipeline of adjudication anyway, and not due to their lawsuit.
Thank you Greg, Chuck, Jeff, Aaron and Lily! Hopefully no one will fall into your stunt anymore.
