The job included new windows and a door (complete with doggy door for the pups), new siding, interior finishes, new tile plank flooring, electrical, concrete work, and a mini-split for heating and cooling. Everyone who sees it says the same thing - it looks like it's been there all along. They matched the existing house exactly, and everything has been top quality materials and installation. Kyle is something of a perfectionist, and he wouldn't accept anything less. I've worked with GC's in the past who talked a good game, promised the stars, and then disappeared in the dust they left behind. Kyle was on site at every critical stage, he stayed on top of his work crews insisting on professionalism and perfection, and he bird-dogged the project until the last screw was in place and the last touch-up of paint was complete. He's likely not the cheapest renovation contractor around, but I have complete confidence in his work, his workmanship, and his word. They seemed to deprioritize my home repairs and constantly left my renter wondering what the next step was while the house was left in disarray after water mitigation. I asked them specifically to keep in touch as their excuse was always COVID related. I told them that I understood and if they couldn't deliver on service due to COVID, they should at least increase their Customer Service portion and please please please keep the customer happy. They agreed and it sounded good at first but for several days there was no contact with no status updates. There were the normal delays for shipping and such but all I asked for were regular updates to my renter, that were not provided. The workers (when they actually showed up) were constantly telling my renter that they needed to leave for school or anything they had to, to leave early and not complete the work. This drug on for several days and then the final straw. They pulled up a floor in a room that didn't even need repairs!! The entire experience was infuriating and all I received were BS excuses, the words "things happen" were used, aloud! I'm in the middle of selling this house and their poor work ethic and lack of communication pushed my closing date by two weeks causing a chain of events that will likely push it even further. Do yourself a favor, these guys are a preferred contractor for USAA, if you have USAA and they recommend Chelsea, get someone else.

I wanted to buy a standby portable generator - so I called these people to have a technician come…read moreout and tell me what size generator I needed to buy to be able to run my whole house including my AC unit. When the tech came out - I explained exactly what I wanted and he checked out all my major appliances and I saw him check the information plate on the AC unit. Then he told me that the generator that I was considering buying was the size that I needed to run everything. I paid him and he left. A few days after my generator arrived - a different tech came out and installed it and he also told me that it would run the whole house. The installation was ok by the way. A few days ago we experienced a Hurricane and I started the generator as soon as we lost power and - low and behold - the generator ran everything in the house EXCEPT THE AIR CONDITIONER. So I sat here totally miserable and soaked with sweat for two and a half days. I called the company and complained and the boss apologized - but I am still setting here with the wrong size generator. He told me to either buy a bigger generator or buy one of the small room size AC units. I will never deal with these people again and I strongly advise other people to think long and hard before hiring them.

This company and its techs took the opportunity to cheat us because we wouldn't discover everything that wasn't done until we attempted to connect everythin. they didn't were the ceiling fans at all. We have no switches to power ceiling fans on/off. Company has ignored us. The circuit box is mislabeled. We never got the garbage disposal connection, they basically did what they wanted and it took them 6 weeks. There were shorts in the connections and more issues. we turned the power off to mount our ceiling fans and my husband got an electrical charge because there was power to that room. We have called, sent emails, text messages and still ignore. Dont use this company! They are lazy, and cut corners. No Integrity or pride in the work they perform.
