After reading about SIP Kitchen I went the first chance I got. Juices and espresso with raw vegan food, that's me, I'm up for that. I was not disappointed. The juice board is quite exhaustive, from straight up fruit and vegetable juices to more substantial superfood smoothies using ingredients like avocado, chia, coconut and cacao. The cabinet has a small range of vegan friendly raw foods. Their take on the bliss ball was scrumptious and my beet salad had a tangy lemon dressing that also price wise I was impressed with. $8 for a bowl. Service was great. They even answered all my annoying, 'are there any animal products in there?' questions with a smile. I'd go back, just nor often if they were on the other side of the bridge. read more

Sip Kitchen is perfect if you've got a food intolerance, allergy or are just generally into putting fresh and wholesome food into your body. They've got mouthwateringly delicious list of smoothies and juices. My favourite to date is the Dr. Feel Good with pumpkin seeds, avo, banana, date, cacao & vanilla. I'm also really into their breakfasts to-go - their grain-free bircher with coconut yoghurt is life changing. In need of lunch? Maybe it's because i'm not THAT into healthy eating and so this place hasn't appealed to me as much as it has for other. I ordered their vegetarian pizza slice (..looking thing) which was really nice because it had olives which gave it a good kick and i looooove olives. I also had a side of their kale salad which was pretty nice but had a lot of dressing that made me suspicious whether it was still healthy or not... then again its probably just yoghurt. Also ordered a super green cocoa smoothie which tasted tooooo much like vegetables that i couldn't really finish it, but yes you could taste the healthiness. The only thing stopping me from giving them a 4 star is probably how many flies were touching their food (on their open cabinet) and i only realized after i finished my meal. I definitely should have just ordered from the chilled closed cabinet. Also, i wish i tried one of their desserts!!! but raw desserts make me suspicious whether they are actually "guilt free" because that's a heavenly combo "guilt-free desserts"....... *dreaming* read more

Sip is amazing. About time a quality health conscious cafe was on the shore. Sip kitchen is dangerous for my bank account as I am here nearly everyday. My smoothie post gym, an afternoon snack or when I am out to lunch with friends. Sip kitchen has it all. The salad selection changes daily but there are usually 4 different options to choose from. The menu is extensive and nutrient dense including soup, both broths, smoothie bowls, a raw cabinet and so much more. My lunch go to is the sip nutrition plate which comes with 3 salad options, half an avo and some cultured veges. Sip also happens to be located down the road from MISH which is a hub for health junkies so it is in a prime location!!! Def recommend Sip if you're a health conscious individual who loves a good nutritious feed read more

Raw food doesn't need to be tasteless or weird looking, the food at Sip is a great example of tasty, healthy and affordable raw food. The places carters for a wide range of dietary requirements and they have loads of choices. This was my third catchup with a friend today, definitely needed to choose somewhere healthy. Sip was an instant choice. Just off Constellation Drive, this place delivers with a good selection of juices, salads, wraps, quiche and sweet things with an emphasis on raw, GF, DF and V (everything's clearly labelled). I had tomato and rocket frittata with a selection of salads (told you I was being good). The salads were crunchy and quite different in taste, the tahini and garlic dressing adding a bitter note. I like that they do $2 bites of the cabinet slices. Must recommend this place to my vegan friend. Now... off to Nosh to do some food shopping! read more

Smoothie lovers rejoice and health-conscious unite! Sip is gorgeous and it's handy cause it opens from early-bird 6am and was a great early road trip breakfast stop before the real long drive began. It's got a great ethos of raw, organic but yumminess. Also a great atmosphere in the petite space- few spots to park outside with charming decor and a nice kids play area and box of toys. Thought the breakfast smoothie was appropriate to start the day- great banana taste- but there was a nice list on the wall of other cool creations. They also do teas and coffees if you haven't yet joined the smoothie bandwagon. A neat little cabinet selection at the counter with both sweet and savoury also. The idea of eating anywhere in Apollo Drive, North Shore didn't make my pulse race. However, I was lured to Sip Kitchen for two reasons: I really wanted to try something new and the menu brimmed with health-giving choices. I had a slow-roasted tomato quiche with a side of mixed salads. Quiche isn't my favourite thing in the world but this one looked light rather than stodgy as many of them, crammed full of pumpkin or kumara, often do. I chose kale salad and cole slaw to accompany. Both were delicious. Full of crunch and flavour and not swamped in dressing. The quiche delivered on light and fluffy although lacked in flavour. Afterwards my lunch pal and I shared a slice of raw lemon/blueberry cheesecake. Yummy, but where was the lemon? I love lemon which was the main reason I chose that particular slice. I'll go back again and try one of the many great-sounding smoothies or juices and to take more advantage of the pads and pencils on each table to doodle more. Love Sip kitchen... Their food is beautiful and the Matcha lattes are fantastic! Is another cafe that welcomes kids (has a few toys for younger kids) and great kids smoothies. Food is all labelled Gf, RSF etc, so you know what to expect. Parking is limited, although there is often parking on Apollo Drive. Our usual order matcha latte with honey, a raw slice and kids smoothie is just over $15. read more

I love Sip Kitchen ! The ultimate place for on trend, fresh, real, raw food and beverages. They are the ultimate when it comes to wholesome eating, and with a menu and drinks list that scales the wall - you're sure to find something that will tickle your taste buds. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and will assist you with any particular dietary needs - I eat HFLC (high fat, low carb) so had actually come to try the Bullet-Proof coffee (or as the Sip Kitchen has aptly named it - a Fat Black) with a bunch of fellow Keto-fiends. Sip Kitchen is very 'fashion forward" in terms of offering alot of 'superfoods' into their smoothies and nibbles that you may not be familiar with. Things like maca, camu camu, mesquite and nut milks. But I can tell you - all of the smoothies are deliciously good for you and you're bound to find if not a smoothie - possibly a nutrient packed juice that is right up your alley. I am also in love with their raw cheesecake that uses not 'cheese' but cashews as it main filler ingredient. The staff are all so informative and will explain any odd things on the menu to you without any reservations. Sip Kitchen is my pick for people wanting to adventure and experiment with the 'healthy' side of the world - they wont bite if you dare to stick your toes into the cold waters ! :) read more

Nice to finally see a paleo friendly cafe on the North Shore! I'm actually surprised that I had never heard of this place before. Well worth a visit especially if you're based on the shore. Previously I had headed to the city to find some decent paleo cafe food. I would recommend dropping past if you want to try something new. I did however find their lack of seating quite surprising given their location and also the popularity of paleo/raw/gluten free/grain free foods! I had a broccoli bowl with carrot with raw almond pieces. It actually lacked any flavour and was very bland. Could have used some salt or some decent seasoning and I could think of a thousand different options to make that dish better. However where they did come through was with their raw, dairy free caramel slice. That was actually amazing and could do with another to be honest. I also tried one of their smoothies and was not bad although could have used some honey or even some stevia. One thing this place excels is it's extensive selection of cabinet food which is great when you're in a rush and need something to fill the gap in your tummy. I would also suggest heading out ahead of schedule as parking is very limited at this cafe (especially on the weekend). Although there is some street parking. Although not a bad experience but still a while to go to beat places like Little Bird or Wilder and Hunt. read more

Lots of great tasting healthy food and well informed smiling staff make this a great place for lunch. The coffee is perfect and the little bite of chocolate on the side is a nice treat.
