Brilliant food served in a dingy, but friendly place
Alright, bad things first: If you are looking for a stylish Japanese restaurant with neon lights and handsome hipsters all around: Go to New York City. This is Hannover and the atmosphere is of a dingy sou-terrain pub with at least no smoking. I rate the atmosphere as a 1.9/5.0 (nobody gets a 5.0 from me for anything).

Avoid the urchin, though, not worth it @€8 a pair. But, well, if you have ever stepped onto an urchin it's still very much worth it. Altogether a 4.7.
Service is friendly and competent, the language barrier might kick in, unless you speak some Chinese (sic) languages, but that only adds to the fun. 4.3. read more
