I don't even know where to start... Kelly is absolutely AMAZING! By far our best vendor. Choosing…read moreher as our wedding photographer was the best and easiest decision we made during this wedding planning process. She is kind, fun, a ray of sunshine & knows all the right poses/angles! We hired Kelly back in October of 2019 and we decided to postpone our May 2021 wedding to June 2022 and Kelly was a huge help in doing that! We actually based our new date on her availability to ensure we wouldn't lose her. We had a mini-ceremony on our May 2021 date and Kelly came to photograph it for us and the photos are truly magical and phenomenal. Over 500 photos just from a 2 hour mini-ceremony and we are having the hardest time deciding on which to frame - we love them ALL! We can not wait for Kelly to be part of our big wedding next year as well! I recommend Kelly to EVERYONE I meet that is looking for a photographer. You will NOT regret having Kelly be part of your special day

Terrible experiences time after time…read more Today was our third time at this particular Picture People and it was somehow, by far, the worst yet. We will not being going back. Everytime you go it is the same thing. We wait almost 2 hours past our appointment time to be seen. Then you have to deal with the rip off session for 45 minutes after as they try and confuse you into an upsell over and over. They are purposefully unhelpful and obtuse in a way to hopefully get you to just give up and buy whatever they offer you. You are basically being held hostage for 3-4 hours. The difference this time to last was that at least before we got some really nice pictures out of our sessions (nice enough to go back and deal with the nonsense, maybe) but this time was so awful. We were treated like an inconvenience. After waiting nearly two hours with a 8 month old and 4 children ages 4-9 (all actually behaved surprisingly well all things considered), The 8 month old needed a quick change (go figure). We were told a few minutes into changing her that we "had two minutes or she is calling it" after only 6 pictures. After we waited 110 minutes for them to get it together we were being threatened... That and the few other times we came they got a ton of pictures for us and they switched up the backgrounds and asked our opinions on different ones. This time they took 15 pictures in front of an awful background that we didn't pick and then they shoved us off and moved on without even giving us a chance to protest. We had planned on buying their RIDICULOUSLY priced disk with all the pictures from the session for $99 but with 15 pictures (none of them good), what would be the point? (past sessions had over 50 pictures) In an age where everyone can take great pictures on their own it is a luxury to get people who want to pay for the professional touch of a studio. This is not the place. These are not real photographers. Most of pictures weren't even framed properly (off centered, not at the correct eye line). Just plain and simple a nightmare of a day and a waste of time and money.

Do you want a photographer to rush you through three backgrounds, produce two images out of 25 that…read morelook acceptable, then give you dozens of the worst quality prints you've ever seen? Do you love making an appointment so that you can wait an hour to be assisted? Then this is the place for you. Try the jc penny's down the hall, they're still cookie cutter and corporate but their product is less pathetic.

I NEVER write a bad review as I understand how much just one bad review can hurt people and their…read morebusinesses but this is something that I cannot get past and others need to be aware. I know this is long but trust me, you'll want to read to the end. I booked a maternity photo session with Sandra as a birthday gift to my sister and she knew that. The photo session was planned well in advance however her communication should have been the first indication of something wrong. No matter how many times my sister and I put in our email that we "cc'd" or included each other in the email to avoid confusion and multiple separate emails, she could not grasp the fact to hit REPLY ALL. Another indication is that when my sister asked for tips on how to dress, she simply replied with links to her other photo shoots as if we haven't looked at them already. Basically, Pinterest was a better reference. Photo session day finally came. Keep in mind my sister is 37 weeks pregnant at this point. During the session, Sandra was pleasant to work with. She told my sister and her husband how to pose and where to go. She also told us we would get a sneak peak in 1 week and the pictures at 3 weeks. 1.5 WEEKS LATER, both my sister and I haven't heard from her. I didn't want to pressure her since she was probably busy so I thought to email Sandra about the other half of the payment. Maybe, she would send us a sneak peak then? I was wrong. She replied with the link for the payment and I paid her. THREE WEEKS LATER, my sister just told me that morning that she's 3cm dilated. Sandra finally reaches out to me to speak over the phone to tell me SHE LOST THE PICTURES. All of them are gone. This is my sister's first pregnancy. I was absolutely LIVID at the fact that she waited 3 weeks to tell me she lost them. If she sent the sneak peak like promised then we would have had at least something. We don't even have proof that she had pictures in the first place. Which by the way, she has no explanation for not sending a sneak peak. Now not only do we not have any professional pictures of her first pregnancy, we also have no time to take any pictures. She offered a refund, many "sorry's", and 2 free photo shoots. All of these things will never give us that time back that would have been possible to redo a shoot. I have sent her programs to recover from her hard drive and sd drive. You would think that if she really felt "sorry" about this whole ordeal, she would be doing more to recover the photos and at least update me that she's tried the programs. But no, I have to ask. I don't know how else to imply that recovering those pictures (even raw footage) is IMPORTANT. She said she's going to try a program over the weekend. As I'm waiting for a response, she has the audacity to post on Instagram that she's spending the weekend at the beach. I would never wish upon anyone to experience the extreme unprofessionalism Sandra has portrayed. I don't know how she can call herself a professional photographer with no backup of pictures and not follow through with her promises. So here we are, baby is born, with no going back to redo maternity pictures. My sister will never have professional pictures of her first pregnancy thanks to Sandra. Don't put yourself in my situation. It's not a pleasant one to be in.
