I won some free classes for Tru Fusion a couple months ago from an event they were doing at Area15…read more(it was puppy yoga with Service dogs & it was an absolutely magical experience!) Started going this past February/March to check it out. I absolutely loved it! The classes are definitely not easy, but I really enjoyed them & all the instructors. The staff is incredibly nice, really take the time to help you understand the classes. The manager was so nice & gave me a tour my first visit. They have four training rooms at this location, I only used two: Rock room & Soul room. Depending which room you're in, depends if it's a heated or non-heated class. I believe the rock room is the only one not heated? This location does not offer Reformer Pilates classes. From what I understand the other two locations do you offer different types of classes that might not be available at the eastern location. The instructors are so understanding & encouraging, especially if you're new to doing any of the classes. The cleanest fitness facility I've ever been to. Locker room, showers, bathrooms, training rooms, equipment, all spotless! They provide most of the equipment, (I needed to bring a mat, mat towel, sweat towel, & water, I was able to buy the hand wraps for boxing from them directly) when you're done, they have an area for used equipment so it can be cleaned. Equipment rentals are very reasonably priced. They have plenty of lockers & storage. Tons of amenities in locker room, & a water bottle filling station. Memberships are pretty pricey for me, so I will buying their class passes! I appreciate the fact that they do have options besides a membership (with contract,) you can buy class packs (but they do need to be used in a certain period of time.) They do some pretty good deals for their class packs through out the year & you can also do drop in classes. The first person I want to give a shout out to is Ashley who teaches their Tru Mat Pilates class! She was my go to person for starting at TruFusion, she had reached out to me about setting up my classes after I had registered. She helped me out so much, such a sweet person, & an incredibly kick ass instructor! My first class was so intense (since it was my first ever Pilates class, I learned a lot) she was so encouraging & really took the time to explain everything. She knew I was pretty overwhelmed & really made it a comfortable environment. She reached out to me after & sent me a really sweet email. I appreciate her so much for following up with me after & I can't wait to take her class again in the future! The next instructor that I had was Maddie she was my instructor for Tru Boxing Conditioning Express. Such a fun, but intense class! She was so nice & took the time to explain things, was very encouraging. She helped with anything I struggled with, I appreciated her help, especially in such a fast paced class! Her class is no joke & super fun!! You are getting a full on workout & also taking out all of your aggression at the same time, you're going back-&-forth between boxing & strength training, it is super quick! My next instructor was Nicole who was subbing for Ashley for Tru Mat Pilates. My trainer & I went together to her class, we both really enjoyed it. She definitely did things very different than Ashley & I really appreciated getting a different perspective on Mat Pilate workouts. They definitely teach very differently & I do love the variation! My final free class & the reason that I will be purchasing class packs in the very near future: Tru Roll & Recover with Neylan! She has such a peaceful, warm, & inviting energy. Her class was absolutely amazing!!! The people in that class were so nice & everyone was having a great time, a lot of laughing! It was so relaxing (still intense, nothing at Tru Fusion is easy lol) It's basically a slightly heated foam roller stretching class (I was definitely very bruised after from the textured foam roller) with a lot of slow movements mixed with meditation. If you need a class to help relieve stress & open up different parts of your body, this is the class to take! I cannot wait to make it a regular part of my schedule! The only downside to TruFusion was how loud the music is in most of the training rooms versus the microphones of the trainers. It can be very overstimulating, & hard to hear what the instructors are saying. What ended up helping me was using my filtered earplugs (like concert earplugs.) So that way I was able to hear the instructors over the music & the music not be overpowering, which also made a massive difference in my workout. So if you are considering taking Tru Fusion classes, & the music is too overwhelming & overstimulating, I highly suggest using filtered earplugs! TruFusion is an absolutely amazing place to take workout/fitness classes. Thank you, TruFusion for being a safe place to learn & grow on my fitness journey.

She worked everyone out to their limit, with grace for people to drink water, take a break or make adjustments. She did a great job explaining and demoing all the cycles. I'm honestly really disappointed with how this gym handles its pricing and basic facilities…read more When you sign up for the year, you're not clearly told that membership rates can increase during your contract. Then when they do raise prices, they send an email only about a month in advance. That's not much notice for something that directly affects people's budgets, especially when many of us sign up expecting to lock in a stable rate. What's worse is that if you haven't had your membership for over a year and they raise the rates on you without clearly communicating that this could happen, and the new price no longer fits your budget, you're stuck. If you want to cancel, it's an additional $50+ fee. So essentially, they can raise your rate, and if you can't afford it, you have to pay extra just to leave. That's not customer-focused it feels like straight-up corporate greed. On top of the pricing issues, there are constant water problems. Recently, the women's restroom was shut down for over three hours with no running water and no access. No porta potties were provided. Meanwhile, when the men's restroom was shut down in the past, accessible porta potties were brought in. For the women, we were simply told to go across the street and ask another company if we could use their restroom. That's not a solution that's passing the problem off onto someone else. If you're going to keep raising prices, the least you can do is provide reliable facilities, equal accommodations, and transparent communication. Unfortunately, this place has failed on all three.

A month ago I walked into FitClub carrying more than just gym anxiety…read more Truthfully, gyms have never felt comfortable for me. A lot of places made me feel judged, out of place, or too intimidated to ask questions. I was always the guy dressed in all black, headphones on, head down, trying not to be noticed while just surviving the workout and leaving. But somehow, in only a month, FitClub completely changed that for me. Ryan, Jessie, Felipe (my amazing trainer), Jacob... thank you. Seriously. You guys created an environment that feels human. Real. Supportive. I've gone from hiding in the corner to actually laughing, having conversations, showing up in bright colors, and feeling like I belong there. That may sound small to some people, but for someone like me, it's honestly a huge deal. People underestimate how powerful a gym environment can be. A good gym doesn't just change your body. It changes the way you see yourself. And for the first time in a long time, I'm starting to feel confident walking into a space instead of ashamed. FitClub isn't just a gym to me anymore. It feels like a family. And I'm genuinely grateful to be a part of this valuable environment. One month down. Many more to go.

Heat quality feels even and deep. Recovery sessions feel clean and controlled. Few saunas in the city reach this level. This location signals growth with purpose. But you can move the benches around to get more space. Tripods for Cellphones are allowed which is annoying times but not too bad. Tis the culture we live in now. And most were very respectful, but not all. My annoyance is the gym bags on the floor rule is not enforced. There was one piece of equipment that had five bags around it making using the equipment impossible. And, other bags were scattered around other equipment throughout the facility. They had ample unused lockers that are very visible throughout the main area of the gym. Then there is the "entitled" non natty people. That kind of comment isn't motivating. It's not funny. And it's definitely not professional. I'm aware I'm out of shape & im working on that currently. It's exactly the type of behavior that makes people hesitant to walk into gyms in the first place. Not everyone enters a gym confident. Some people are just trying to take the first step toward bettering themselves, and comments like that remind them why they were nervous to begin with. I'm currently training at FitClub gym, where the environment is respectful, focused, and built on encouraging people, not sizing them up the second they walk in. That difference matters. If your goal as a business is to build a strong community, it starts with how you treat people the moment they walk through the door. You never know where someone is in their journey. A little respect goes a long way. Hopefully this is taken as a reminder that how you speak to people, especially in a space meant for growth, actually matters.
