The pros where that they had tour available from site which you could book and it took away the hassle of trying to find your way around. Many of the staff didn't speak English and the reception staff was horrible. They were non responsive or too busy to be helpful. We ordered a pizza and requested utensils and the charge was 10euros. Rooms were a decent size for Italy. Customer service was lacking but being in such a beautiful place you can quickly overlook it.

Booked resort over 2 months ago. They would originally charge me for 2 fares for airport pickup…read more70.00 Euro. After I requested information on other transportation Katia, the concierge of the hotel emailed me back they would accommodate a single traveler since other guests would be picked up at the same time. 35 Euro. Arrived early about 9:30 a.m. as that was the available flight schedule from Rome to Palermo. The staff stored My luggage. Was not told if I could swim, use restaurant wasn't offered a courtesy room to change or shower. 4 p.m. I requested if room available, it was. (I saw plenty of guests getting checked in all day) my room is in the far back hallway. Room faces an apartment building with laundry hanging. I paid amazing money to have the amazing view water and reort grounds. No balcony. No nothing. Ordered room service, I made a mistake on times available. So I corrected this error, ordered from snack menu available until 6pm. They brought calzone to my room. They had no salad available which I ordered. No grilled veggies available which I ordered. I did go to restaurant to witness all guests with a full access to as much vegetables and salad as they wanted. Arrogance runs rapid in this building from the staff. The young lady who brought a calzone to my room, which I declined, had a vulgar Italian mouth also. This is day one. I have been traveling in Italy for 3 weeks with incredible kindness and adventures. This is the worst of Italian hospitality anyone could imagine. Maybe because I am not skinny, maybe because I am traveling solo,. maybe not one of the pretty people shove me in a back corner room. I wish I could post pics for you to see the room. The grounds are lovely, certainly not the W quality.
