About six or seven years ago I went looking for a place where I could source high quality spring water for my family. After an extensive search I settled on Simpson Spring and have never looked back. The water tastes amazing and has huge health benefits over tap water and distilled water. Over the years, we've come to know Chris and other members of the Simpson Spring family. We drive 40 miles each way about once a month (and get 75+ gallons for our family of six). It's always worth the trip to visit the warm welcoming store, say hello, and pick up some grass fed meat/bones, gifts, and other fun items they carry. They offer free tours of their spring water facility filled with lots of interesting facts and memorabilia. Did you know that they are the oldest spring water bottling plant in America? It is operated by a single family and their water tastes pretty delicious. They also make their own sodas which is very labor intensive. I believe they ship spring water to the kiosk on route 28 in downtown Falmouth. This is where we get our drinking water as the tap water is not up to out MWRA inured taste buds. At 25 cents a gallon, it is worth the little extra effort it takes. As an added bonus, every gallon jug we refill is one less gallon jug that ends up in a landfill. When I was a kid, Simpson Spring and Miscoe Spring we the best two locally produced brands of "bellywash". Good to know this one is still around. read more

I'm so grateful to have found this place. I've been struggling to find quality food for my two children who have allergies, reflux, and too many GI issues for people who haven't even been alive for a decade. We've been working hard to heal "leaky guts" and avoid processed foods filled with crap that's illegal in almost every other country. We stumbled upon Simpson Springs last week and found some delicious meats, yogurt, sauerkraut - and of course water. Highly recommend this place! I love the coffee soda. If you've never had it before you should have it on the rocks, or ice cold, or maybe with some ice cream, or you could add a little cream (vanilla) soda. I prefer ice cream sodas over floats. (Sodas have soft ice cream and floats have hard ice cream.) read more

I just called (3-5-21) to inquire about delivery service because we want to make a change from Ready Refresh. I believe Kristen was the name of the person I spoke with. She was extremely rude. I'm actually stunned that I called to ask about giving a company my business and I was treated that way. First, when I called to get info. and pricing on water DELIVERY, she said I should go there and pick up bottles. Then, she talked over me multiple times. I REALLY wanted to like this company and support a local business. The business is disorganized and poorly run. I never knew when deliveries were coming, I had to call (and call again) to get answers. The woman seemed to always be annoyed and curt, like she was doing ME a favor when I'm paying $17 for a 5 gallon bottle of water! She told me I couldn't change the number of bottles to be delivered over the phone, I was told to leave a note for the driver with updates. I did that, and then the woman called me and YELLED at me like I was a bad child, wouldn't let me say a word, and hung up on me! She was mad because I left a note saying I didn't need any water this time and that I wasted her delivery person's time. How would I know that they didn't have any other business in my town and came all the way here just for me. When I set up delivery she told me they have a route in my town already. Really, REALLY unprofessional and startling reaction. I'm assuming she's the owner since I'm sure she'd be fired if she was an employee. It's too bad, the water is good. I'll give them that. But the way that woman spoke to me and how disorganized she is are completely unacceptable. I feel badly for her employees/customers/anyone that has to deal with her. She's unhinged. read more

You know how the story goes. You turn off the main street, the numbered route, and start down a long road that gets worse the further you go. Just when you think you're on the road to nowhere and wondering where you can turn around to head back, you see signs of civilization ahead... At this point, inbred hillbillies usually start killing off the horny college kids, until the hero (or heroine) finds love and/or safety (and a large caliber handgun) in the arms of the only other survivor. This isn't that kind of story. Well, it is up to the inbred hillbillies part. Saturday afternoon found me bumping along a paved, but cratered road off route 138 in South Easton. My GPS told me this was the place, but I really was starting to wonder if we (my GPS and I) were lost. Then, through the trees, came the sight I was hoping for; the Simpson Spring bottling plant! It looks old, because it is old. Go to their website and check out the story, which runs parallel to our region's history. Entrepreneurs, screwed-over Native Americans, Yankee ingenuity, quality products and murderous hillbillies (just kidding). A personal history note; as a kid we rarely drank soda, but when we did, it was Simpson Spring. I walked into a small store that featured some crafts, some snacks and a display of their soda products. I put together a couple of mixed six packs (sodas are in 12 oz glass bottles, except the coffee soda which is 10 oz) and suddenly realized that they probably didn't take debit/credit cards. I was correct, but what the woman at the store said next floored me, 'You can send us a check'. She said I could leave with the soda, and mail her a check! With a small part of my faith in humanity restored, I drove to a local ATM and procured cash for my purchase. When I returned there was a group finishing a tour of the bottling plant and I was invited to enjoy an ice cream soda with them. I had come from a late breakfast and declined, but the looks on their faces almost made me reconsider. I'll update when I've tried the soda to see if it stands up to my childhood memories, but that is a small part of it. Local owners. Local products. Pleasant, trusting staff. My boyfriend and I went to check this place out a few weeks ago after seeing their sodas stocked in local businesses. We came on a Saturday just as the marketplace was wrapping up (they sell a lot of cool local goods such as foods and bath/body products). We went on the tour, which is very cool and interesting, especially if you enjoy local history! We also sampled a few of their soda flavors. The coffee soda, while a bit unconventional, was really good. Every worker we encountered while there was super nice and made our visit very pleasant! We'll be back for sure. read more

I found this place when I was looking for alpaca gloves and clothing. I found an alpaca farm and they listed that their products were available at Simpson Springs. So I Googled the website and saw that they have a sort of market there. I went and did get some great gloves but also toured the spring and tasted soda and shopped for some other things. I bought some great local honey, some spring water and local bacon that first visit. I've been going back every few weeks to see what is new and buy a few things I get there that no one else has. One day the owner had me try some of the new Greek yogurt they started to carry. One taste and I was an instant convert to the real all natural stuff which is a far cry from any of the store bought stuff! Each time I go I fill up my spring water but I shop in the market and support other local farms and shops at the same time! This place is GREAT! read more

I have been living in Easton for the past 36 years and I have been coming to Simpson Springs to fill my gallon jugs with water over those years, but more recently and frequently. I always fill at least 20+ jugs every time I go, which is usually at least once a month. On my recent trip, I found that they had installed lucite type doors where you fill up. Finding it difficult at best , I spoke with Matt, their production manager as he was leaving work. We were having quite a nice discussion regarding this when the owner of Simpson Spring, after walking her dog, abruptly came in to our conversation with such attitude about how this is state decided and if I was unahppy then I should go into their store and support them by buying their water. Excuse me, if I am filling up my jugs with their spring water, am I not supporting them? The attitude was very offensive. Matt, who is by the way, very nice, apologized for her behavior. I told him that he need not do that, but that as an owner of a company, she should understand how to treat her customers instead of alienating them and losing them as a customer. The absolute best customer service is where it starts, then its off to the BEST soda available anywhere made from the best tasting actually real spring water available. They have white birch beer soda(my favorite and very hard to find). Our family stopped in on a Friday and we came from an hour away to get the soda I had as a kid from the local area. Said to be the nation's oldest independent bottler, Simpson Spring enjoys a well deserved reputation as a premier producer of "hand crafted" sodas. Using the purest of ingredients, including their own spring water, Simpson Spring offers many traditional flavors as well as a few new creations of their own. Although I have seen many of their flavors in local venues, the only way to have a complete selection is with a visit to the plant/store itself. Once there, amongst some very friendly associates, you can not only see all of their varieties, but if your timing is good, you can participate in a plant tour ! Of the flavors this addict has thus far sampled, I was really favorably surprised at how nice the White Birch played out and too how pleasant the Lemon-lime turned out to be...these 2 had a real "wow" factor rarely encoutered in soda-pop. While their Root Beer, Sarsaparilla, and Ginger Ale seem like old standards, their Cream Soda is an especially nice play on an old standard and truly deserving of your attention. The Grape was a let-down I'm afraid, unless my senseless taste of nothingness is to blame, but the Orange was impressive, particularly in that real juice is in the recipe.. I had heard good things about the Coffee flavor, which was reinforced by the big gaping hole where the soda ought have been. Too, I had wanted to try their Cola but it seems I'll have another excuse to visit soon. Now I mean no disrespect for the few remaining flavors I've yet to mention, but my blood / sucrose levels are elevated and are demanding a vacation...soon I will be trying them too. I've given no attention to the seltzers, nor to any of the other fine, locally produced items offered for your perusal, but perhaps that can be your discovery .... As an aside, some of the classic, old fashioned charm is evidenced in that they do not accommodate plastic...you'll want to have some cash... One of the few real springs around! I went down today for the free hayride for kids, and ended up having a great time. We took the free tour with owner and learned about the history of the springs, then sampled several of their sodas and bought a 12-pack for the road! Highly recommended. read more

I had a great experience at Simpson spring today. I was given a tour and thrilled to see everything that they offer. I am tired of the filmy taste from popular spring water bottles at other stores. I tried the Simpson spring water and it tastes so much better. I also am thrilled that I can refill my 1 gallon bottles at only $50 cents each outside the building at any time of the day. I never have left a bad review on yelp or anywhere but I'm so very disappointed in the customer service . I can not tell you how many times I confirmed my delivery schedule . I was told every two weeks on Wednesday's . The last time it didn't come I called and the owner said "oh I'm sorry we have to do 3 weeks this time ( I don't remember the excuse ) but next time it has to be a 3 week time slot I will let you know before hand . Fine ! So every 2 weeks I want delivery then I explained and understand if it can't be but I need to know . Fine. Fast forward next interval I get no water . When I called the owner said she left a message to see if I wanted water but didn't answer . So when I politely called she kept talking over me stating I never confirmed I wanted 2 week delivery so she called to ask me but I never called her back . I told her she doesn't have to call me to confirm I've already confirmed a zillion times . She said I never did and it's my word against hers . I am a nutritionist and always recommend them instead of bottled water or Poland springs which is a terrible company to support (for many reasons .) Glad others have had good experiences but on my end it's been a nightmare . Time to invest in a good water filter system! read more

Rather than pick up gallons of water at a super market I go to Simpson Spring.Service is either fast or slow. They need diet sodas.You can fill your own water for .25 per gallon I am concerned though about cross contamination. read more

I had the opportunity to sample Simpson Spring soda and water at the Let's Eat event sponsored by the Raynham Channel. I sampled the ginger ale, which was delicious! My husband was a fan of the birch beer. The hand mixed soda was refreshing and tasty unlike other types of soda. The company representatives at the event were also kind, friendly and able to answer all questions asked. read more
