Another company wanted to replace parts I the house, but only tested with gauges outside. I already knew the unit had no freon in it, that was why I was calling in the first place. I hit the inter-webs to search for another solution and I can say that I am really impressed with Arkansas Air. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work. They were upfront about how booked they were, which didn't matter in my particular instance. I explained the situation and they agreed to come out and test the system. They were prompt in their arrival and very professional. After their testing they gave me an estimate of the cost to repair, which was well below what I was preparing myself for. I agreed to the price and they got straight to work. The whole process took around an hour and a half and I got exactly what I needed for a really fair price. I would not hesitate to use them again!

I needed a new outdoor unit which they had priced at more than double what parts and labor cost. I had another company perform the same tasks. I had to wait on the other company to come out to do the job, and the other company saved me over $7,000 of what I would have to pay Arkansas Air. Arkansas Air tried to take advantage and cash out. I do not recommend this company.

    My 75 year old mother's air conditioning unit went out on her over the weekend. Tuesday, she met…read morewith and agreed to purchase a unit for $8000 to be installed on Thursday. Today (Wednesday), she is called and given an excuse that the unit cannot be installed until NEXT Tuesday. I'm sorry, but I don't trust a man that cannot keep his word. There is no acceptable excuse. You probably made the sell yesterday knowing you could not do the installation on Thursday (probably because it is supposed to rain). So I cancelled the order. He then says well maybe I could come tomorrow, but he hangs up. I called him back and asked why did he hang up? He said, "well you fired me sir, so I hung up". I then informed him he was indeed fired (and I added a little more). Bottom line, why should you as the customer trust a company that doesn't keep their promise? You shouldn't trust this company. Do yourself a favor and use another service in you are in the Paragould area. If I could have given less that 1 star review I would have.

    This is a tough rating to give, but let me start with stating this review is based on several years…read moreof service including installing 4-5 new systems and multiple repair calls as I have about 20 HVAC units that I oversee. My experience with Jason has been ***** (5) stars. He is polite, professional, does a good job, knows what he is doing, and his bills are reasonable. However, there are two Jason Heat and Air Trucks with the other vehicle being driven by Lee Abbott. My experience with Lee has been a * (1) star. The first time he came out he couldn't figure out the problem so had to wait for Jason the next day. Jason found the issue immediately, but who wants to wait an extra day when its hot and your air is out. Another time Lee Abbott came out he ordered a bunch of parts for the unit. When the parts came in a day or two later, Jason came out and almost immediately determined the problem wasn't a single part that was ordered, but a faulty thermostat that caused issues. Its bad enough that Lee Abbott from my experience appears incompetent, but he acts like an arrogant know it all S.O.B. Is it just me? Well, when I talked with Jason about it, I found out I wasn't the only one with this complaint. Jason told me in the future, ask for him only and that would be my advice to you. Since my experience has been 5 star with Jason but 1 star with Lee Abbott, I have averaged the 2 together for a 3 star. When you call, ask for Jason only and that you don't want the flunky that works with him.

    This was possibly the worst we have been treated by a company. Initially called to try and schedule…read morean appointment for my gas furnace not firing. It's a newer style without the pilot light. I called around 11am and got their answering service. Waited until around 1:30 and called back. Was told that she has just gotten back from lunch and they would try and fit us in. Repairman got to the house a couple of hours after. When the repairman got to the house, he did not ring the door bell or knock, he honked his horn and waited on my wife to come outside. Through the three days that he worked on my unit, he not once introduced himself to myself or my wife. He immediately went to the unit and after only a few minutes, was told the main board would have to be replaced. Showed up the following afternoon, wasn't the board. His thoughts were the gas valve (told the lady when I called that it wasn't getting any gas) and he would be by around 8:30 the next morning. I called at 11am that day because of his no call no show, and got the answering service again. Apparently the lady that runs the office takes a three hour lunch, answering service's words. I found the guys number and called only to be hung up on twice. Once I finally got to talk to him, he told me he got caught up somewhere and then asked me what the problem was. Regardless he showed up 2 hours later and replaced the gas valve. We have heat and will never use them again. Long story short, techs do not have the training needed to properly interact with customers or diagnose problems. The tech that came to our house threw parts at the problem and hoped it fixed the problem. Save your money and invest with a company that wants your service and doesn't treat you like an inconvenience.
