I live out of state, so was not going to be meeting in person before the wedding. Angee replied within one day and provided a thorough 6 page questionnaire. No one else responded. She then replied within one day with a formal quote. I sent her some inspirational photos as well. I more than doubled my initial budget, because of how thorough and detailed she was, and the list of flowers she provided was sensational. I added on corsages and boutonnieres too! Everyone took home the centerpieces, they just loved them. I stared at the bouquets and centerpieces and could not believe how such a brief interaction, a couple of e-mails could have allowed their team to create arrangements of my dreams! It was as if I was there with them, telling them this is exactly what I wanted, and more, mind readers! I highly recommend this amazing florist and team of gifted local professionals. The owner is extremely scattered and non-responsive. She never returned my calls or emails. She…read morenever showed up on my wedding day as promised -- she sent her family members who had no idea where everything was supposed to go, and inappropriately asked the venue staff to take care of the floral placements for them. They left the ceremony flowers sitting out in the hot air for hours and hours, despite Lorie telling me she would make a second trip with them closer to the start of the ceremony so this exact scenario didn't happen. Her husband came up with some lie about it being a liability for them to put their arrangement up on the arch (because he didn't want to make a trip back and it couldn't sit out in the direct sun for five hours). Our venue coordinator confirmed that is absolutely untrue. Despite having clear instructions with a photo to show placement in our contract, the large arch arrangement ended up in the wrong spot, which I didn't see until I was walking down the aisle. On top of everything, the flowers were pretty but not actually want I wanted and not what we had talked about. The centerpieces were completely off. They forgot the flower girl petals. They never brought the extra vases for the bouquets to go in upstairs. I was hugely disappointed (especially after making repeated attempts to get in touch with Lorie leading up to our date), and it was the only thing that went wrong on an otherwise perfect day. I tried not to let it bother me, but let's be real, it did. Flowers were my top priority for the day and we had a comfortable budget. I wish I would have gone with someone else and urge you to do so for your wedding. Lorie causes major stress no bride needs before or on the big day.

The florals were absolutely beautiful, and Brigitte was so easy to work with. The shop is located right in Estes Park, very close to where we were staying, and it made it easy for us to pick up the buckets of florals the day before the wedding, and we sent someone to pick up the bridal bouquet and pocket square the morning of. The quality of the flowers was amazing, and they truly elevated our wedding decor!

From the beginning, Brigitte was patient, understanding, and took the time to absorb our vision. Not only did she work within our budget, but she added so many extras I didn't expect for our wedding. We had discussed a circle arch with two large arrangements on diagonal corners. The arch became the focal point of our ceremony--so many guests wanted to take pictures under the arch. She also effortlessly transitioned between different florals from our cocktail space with succulents to our reception space while keeping the style cohesive. I hadn't planned on flowers becoming a focal point of the wedding, but they certainly were. Her designs took the ideas I liked even further. She truly is amazing. When we first talked, she kept pictures of my dress, my floral inspiration pictures, and swatches of my bridesmaids gowns. When we met 6 months later, she still had those references and had printed them out, so we could compare them to the mock up. She's also such a lovely person to work with. I wish we had an occasion to order flowers from her all the time.

They are really all in here for this business and it was reflected in the conversation as well as the store. What will no doubt draw your eye is all the statuary around. It is but one of the types of things they sell. There is clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, and other unique items. It is worth the stop just to look around but I suspect you will leave with something. Each time we visited, we'd always leave with something fun in our bags. Often, our purchases were gifts to others, proudly advertising the store's name. In fact, one of my husband's favorite gifts was a beautiful vase I bought from their store. We truly loved Rustic Mountain Charm and the memories we shared their. Sadly, today is the last time we EVER step foot in that store. My family, as well as my two siblings and their families, walked into the store to do some keepsake shopping. My husband and I had our eyes on a few items, and my children were looking for something as well. Apparently, the staff and owner felt that the items in the store were not to be handled and were for admiration only; despite the many "Try Me" and "Sample Me" signs strategically placed all over their store (candle samples, lotion samples and etc.). Furthermore, my children and niece were told to keep their "grubby hands" off the stuffed hand puppets. Keep in mind, my children's actions were no different than any other patron who had walked through the door. In my opinion, if their toys are not meant to be touched by children, they would be better off to place a "No Touching" sign next to the toys or avoid placing them where they are intended to grab a child's attention. I don't know of any child who wouldn't want to pick up their toy before buying it! Not only was the staff rude, but the owner himself was confrontational and offensive. To be honest, we didn't even realize he was the owner at first as his mannerisms and attitude were highly unprofessional. The whole experience was disappointing and gave my children unnecessary worry and fear... even our six year old understands that people shouldn't behave this way. As we left, my husband and I put back the items we were going to buy and promised the owner, that despite our years of patronage, he would NEVER get another dime from us! Fortunately, the items for purchase in Rustic Mountain Charm can be found at most other souvenir shops in Estes Park or online.
