I had an interview here for a position that I applied for on Indeed. In the description of the job…read moreand qualifications for the position, they listed a few different areas they wanted you to have experience in. Based on that criteria I should have qualified. They called me to schedule an interview for the following day, and so I showed up for my interview the next day. They had me fill out the full paper application before the interview, and when I finally got back to speak to someone, they said I needed experience that wasn't listed in the job posting or asked about on the phone call to schedule the interview. It was stated very rudely that experience is what is required, not just the ability to learn what you need to quickly and efficiently. They're not looking for someone to train, only people that already know what to do. I do understand the concept of needing experience to qualify for a job, but the required experience should have been listed on the job posting. Also, they had access to my resume. All of my experience was noted right in front of them. Yet I was still called for an interview for a job I was apparently unqualified for.
