I don't usually eat pastry at all, it's often a bit limp and microwaved, but it was so yummy I ate all of it. My picky other half got the bacon pastry roll, and raved about the taste too! The pudding were a little worse than I hoped, not bad by any stretch of the imagination, just rather plain. Donuts were yum, but you can't really go wrong with donuts ;) Staff were friendly, indoor and outdoor seating, counter can lead to some queueing kerfuffle when it gets a little busier, but definitely better than average for a snack; check it out fellow northerners! (It BEATS Greggs in my book!)

They always do a seasonal section of cakes and cookies for children which are quite creative. They have good assortment of hot food, sausage rolls and pasties etc. The people who work there always seem a bit miserable, but the food is good.

There are also a few table where you can eat in if you want. They do fantastic sandwiches and rolls, made to order and their cakes are to die for. I am glad I moved with work, or I would probably be about twenty stone by now. Oh, and their mince pies with viennese topping are the best.
