I came back to this place, and it did not disappoint. I got a bowl again, but this time, I tried the beef, which was delicious. I also tried the fire roasted tomato sauce on top. It had a sweet and spicy flavor that went very well with the beef. Just like the previous time, the staff was very friendly and went on top of everything.

Nice Turkish restaurant in Naples area. There is indoor seating, with modern decor with nice Mediterranean touches and great outdoor seating which we opted for. We started our meal with Babaganoush, very fresh and flavorful, loved their pita bread! We continued our lunch with their Traditional Doner Kebab with beef and fries, very nice, pretty light, I liked their Tzatziki sauce, fresh, great to dip in. Somebody else in our party enjoyed their Sumit sandwich is vegetarian. For drinks I got their sour cherry juice (amazing) and my husband couldn't resist their Schweppes bitter lemon soda, I drink we usually get in Europe, hard to find in US. We had a nice lunch, great service, clean restrooms, enjoyable atmosphere. I'd go back to Simit in a heart beat while in the area, their menu is nice, with great options, decent prices and the food is delicious!

Dined here this evening with my partner and his mother. With a table of two meat eaters and one vegan, we could not have been more pleased with food, the service or the ambiance. Finally, a great casual Mediterranean restaurant in Naples! The menu is super interesting and our group of 4 had fun trying and sharing as many things on the menu as we could. We started with the Cheese Pide which is a Turkish bread that is puffy and light. We added the Armenian pastirma, not even knowing what it was, just for fun. It was a cured meat that added a lot of flavor to the dish. Another standout dish was the mixed grill. I only tried the chicken but it was tender and full of flavor from the herbs and spices it was coated with. The calamari with squid ink rice and herb salsa was also very delicious and totally different than traditional calamari. The flavor combination with the rice and salsa definitely worked. We really wanted to try the desserts but were just too full. Will definitely return and try more items on the menu!

I had great expectations as I enjoy Greek food. I ordered to take out a Greek salad ($14.95 + 15% tip (does not let you proceed with payment unless you pay a tip). To my surprise the salad was not only small, but looked weird... with a single stem of the romaine. The salad was summerge (assuming it was dressing) but no, it was waterly. I give a one just because I want to be nice. But this place sucks from the presentation to the price.

Wonderful mediterranean restaurant. Everything was delicious the appetizers including beat root hummus, tzatziki, and babaganoush and the grouper entree was out of this world. Service was outstanding; friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend.

Look at the photos. For those that want to read I'll make it brief since I'm so disappointed about how bad this was. Falafel plate missing falafels. No rice. Cheese Pide is an abomination. Dry and no idea how you call it pide. Mixed grill over charged for salad that's meant to be a side. Meat was dry but ok. Bread is ok and dips were probably the best thing. That's it. Look at the photos. Wish I could write a glowing review because I was excited but unfortunately had this experience.

Food here definitely has that fresh flavor. It's a quaint small place with likely 10 table settings but food was flavorful. We had delicious baked hummus , chicken kobob , mixed grill which included chicken, & beef .

The food was excellent! Service and ambience was good as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Great food, we were on our way back from the keys and this was halfway back on our way to Tampa, and wanted to eat Mediterranean food and this came up on yelp. A good option, wish they were closer to us. Great service, fresh tasty food.

We ordered a huge amount of food and it was a mixed bag. The 3 dip trio was almost as good as I've had in other places, the babaganoush and the beet hummus were good. The two lamb/beef Döner lacked flavor and were only ok. The two create your own bowls were both good though the falafel was a bit dry. The simit filled with Nutella was good, but anything with Nutella is good. We got carryout and online ordering was easy.

Was visiting Naples for the weekend and decided to try something new in town with my family. Immediately loved how charming it was inside and outside, including a live violinist the night we went. We love Mediterranean food so we went all out. For apps we tried the Ajvar dip and the baked hummus (FAVE) and both were suuuper delicious. We could've easily kept ordering more for the table because both were so tasty. For entrees we ordered the salmon (10/10 super tender and really nice citrusy flavor), the mixed grill (7/10 decent portion for price, flavors were good, a little dry), braised lamb (8/10 tender and full of flavor), and the tenderloin kebab (8/10 needed more flavor but the potatoes were out of this world). For dessert we tried the kunefe which is one of my faves, but it was a little dry and missing something. Overall the service was fantastic, loved the live music, and the food was very tasty. We will definitely come back to try out other items!

This cozy nook offers a delight for your tastebuds. A friend and I went there to celebrate my birthday, and I'm so glad we did. We were greeted by Hasan who took great care of us all night. We started with the warm Mediterranean Veggie Pide. The flavorful vegetables were nestled in gooey cheese atop crispy flatbread. For my entree, I chose The Sultan's Delight. The sumptuous braised lamb was perfectly seasoned to create a robust, rich flavor, which was further enhanced by the Turkish red wine Hasan suggested. Our dessert was like nothing I've had before; A shallow flaky pastry with a big dollop of cream on top, which Hasan instructed us to eat with our hands by folding it in half. OMG! Simit is a true Naples gem, and I look forward to many more spectacular meals. The restaurant was immaculate and the ambiance cozy. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. read more

We had been on the search for some good Mediterranean food in Naples and we FOUND IT last night! We had a lovely dinner with friends - sat outside on their pretty lighted patio - with beautiful (but soft!) live music! The red wine from Macedonia that our server suggested was wonderful. Appetizers were delicious - we split the special app of the day (octopus which was fabulous!), and the dips trio with incredible homemade pita bread. For entrees we all had something different - the steak kabob, branzino, salmon, roasted vegetables with falafel, ... all were terrific. We had no room for dessert but they sounded fabulous as well. We will 100%, without a doubt, be back! read more

I have been wanting to try this restaurant since they opened! Love the related restaurant Turco Tacos! This place did not disappoint! The food was amazing! We were greeted with a friendly server and seated promptly! The service was quick. I ordered Ice tea any it was fabulous! My daughter ordered a juice that reminded her of one she ordered in Europe! The waiter was nice to explain the menu and make any food accommodations! We ordered the trio dips and the meat platter it was all delicious! The staff were kind and friendly! WOW. This restaurant is so authentic and extremely delicious. My husband and I love seeking out great Mediterranean places all over the country and this was by far our favorite that we've ever been to. TRY THIS PLACE! This was my first time visiting Naples, FL. I ended up Googling what was near by the hotel for lunch. I'm so glad I did because this restaurant was the first to pop up! The service was great and I was able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and nice breeze. The marinated chicken was DELICIOUS and the beetroot hummus was a much needed side. The signature sauce was so good. I wasn't a huge fan of the avocado mousse but I'm also not in love with avocados as a flavor (if you love avocados though definitely give this a try). I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mediterranean food and this place did not disappoint (I even had leftovers for dinner that night)! Highly recommend. read more

All I can say is WOW! When I first heard that Turco Taco was opening up a sister restaraunt, I was thrilled! I knew it would live up to the same standards of freshness and quality. So when I went for the first time today, my expectations were far exceeded! After analyzing the tasteful menu I decided to go with the Shepard's Salata with beef. Right away when I took my first bite, I could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the salad had the perfect mixture of veggies and feta. Not to mention the portion was huge! I am very satisfied with my meal today and am looking forward to trying more of their amazing dishes read more

The dinner was fabulous and the service refreshingly friendly, respectful and informative! Music was delightful and the chef came out to receive our compliments. We shared the Sultan's lamb dish which was absolutely wonderful: flavorful and so tender.The trio of babaganoush, Taziki sauce and beet root hummus was our appetizer and did not disappoint. First time going in to Simit's. Had the gyro and it was so good. You order at the counter and they make the food fresh. The guy who worked the counter suggested the gyro on a bun like bread. It was the best I've ever had. So fresh. I think it was under $14 and came with fries. All was good. Going to try the salad next time. Very impressed with this place. read more

Just ordered take out from here! Wow, everything was so fresh and I ordered at the end of the day! The vegetables were freshly cut, you know you can tell the difference when they've been sitting pre cut and get soggy, not the case for here! Just loved all the toppings for the chicken bowl i ordered. The tomato sauce, the babaganosh just delish. So much explosion of flavor! We were so excited to visit this restaurant since we had enjoyed Turkish food in turkey and Berlin. The food was incredible. I had the roasted salad with chicken. The veggies were tasty and crisp and the dressing was homemade and delicious. The chicken was lean and well cooked Our group had the wonderful doners and French fries. They said those were the best fries because they were thin and crispy . I would highly recommend this place if you want something tasty and healthy read more

Step inside clean, bright and cheerful Simit and order up the tastiest, freshest bites of Middle Eastern cuisine in town. It is located right off Airport-Pulling Road and there is adequate free parking. My husband and I have visited on several occasions and highly recommend it. You will find that you are immediately greeted by a charming, friendly staffer who offers you the menu, and is pleased to detail bill of fare items and make recommendations. Everything here is made in house, including the simit for which the place is named--a popular Turkish street food with a crisp exterior and a light, delicate, and tender interior. Several varieties of hummus and dips are served with just-baked pita, and the texture and taste of the spreads are outstanding. I loved the Aegean Platter, a breakfast item that included two organic eggs, cucumber, tomato, marinated olives, feta, falafel with hummus, fig preserve, kaymak and simit--what a feast. My husband ordered the simit and salmon, equally lavish in quality and quantity, and served with breakfast potatoes. On the lunch menu, the Simit sandwich, falafel and wraps are just as fresh and scrumptious. Oh, and did I mention the hot and sweetened Turkish tea! Everything is served beautifully, so your meal is a treat for the eyes as well as the tastebuds and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Here, you are treated like guests--what a pleasure. We were informed that hours will be changing in November. Until the end of October, they are only open for lunch, but with the start of November, lunch and dinner will be served. They are also expanding their outdoor seating (You might want to call before you go to make sure of the new hours.) Looking forward to enjoying many more healthy, fresh and flavorsome Mediterranean-style meals at Simit! read more

Bummed that I missed the lunch menu because that seems to to what had the great ratings. The server was great and really sweet. Definitely was not impressed with the dinner menu though. We were the only ones there and 2 of the 3 meals came out on the cold side. Our daughter loved the French fries and said they tasted like McDonald's. read more

One of the best meals I've had in Naples yet! Both food and service were phenomenal. You can tell everything is made in-house with fresh ingredients.
