We got our first corgi, Rupert from Lee 2 years ago and he's the sweetest boy ever. The whole…read moreprocess was pretty simple we emailed her, then heard back in a few days about the puppies she had available. A few weeks later he was ready to go. She does not take away puppies from their mother early or until they are absolutely ready to go like some other breeders I've seen. She's also not a back yard breeder-she doesn't churn puppies out so it takes time to get one. All puppies have their shots, papers and live in the home with their mom and play outside. It was great actually going there to pick him up and getting a chance to see his mom, dad, and siblings. She has a large farm and allows folks to walk around to see the puppies-you of course let her know you are visiting ahead of time. When we picked up our Rupert we noticed other Lee English corgi owners picking up a second puppy from her and they absolutely loved him. An awesome thing she does is email you a picture of your puppy every week until he's home with you. Its important to remember she's an older lady who truly loves her Corgi's and I've run into other corgi owners that have gotten their fur kids from her, so she's very busy. Since she is so busy and older, emails may not come as fast as they use to so its important to have patience and just keep at it or the best thing is to let her know you would like to visit and stop by so she'll remember your face. Keep in mind these are purebreds, thus they'll have occasional health issues like all purebreds. Our boy has an allergy to chicken/fleas and sensitive tummy (he's a nerd lol). Keep in mind its probably not the breeder but the breed.

Sarrah was quick to respond to my request for information. Before we even met Sugar, we'd fallen in love with her sweet face. Driving from Naples to Ocala to meet both dogs in person & spending the morning playing with them both. Sarrah described their different personalities. How, being around young children, the 'girls' were gentle & loving. We decided on Sugar (aptly named bc of her personality AND color!) Penny Lane had us review their contract which, I'm discovering, is pretty standard in the industry. Bc she had to get a final check from her vet & Sugar needed her final shots/vaccines before she could come with us, we returned to pick her up 2 weeks later. Sarrah nailed Sugar's personality. Over the past months I've contacted Sarrah with questions & 'reports' on Sugar. She's always been quick to answer questions, etc.
