I know I gave it a low review, this doesn't mean that the place is beautiful. There is a very nice beach there, you can kayak, fish and swim. There is a short (very short) trail there for stretching your bones and you can also use your pass to go to Sharbot lake (the nearby park) BUT and this is why I ranked it very low:
The main purpose of this park is as a campground and here it fails completely. The plots are very close to one another so if you have neighbors you feel like their tent is pitched touching yours. During holidays its a nightmare. They allow dogs which is amazing (I have one) but be prepared to listen to several barks during the night (since there is no privacy). The worst thing is that you go camping to feel nature...well in this campground there is a highway right outside the campgrounds so all during the night we heard trucks and cars...fun. read more
