Very disappointing on top of its taste. Szechuan pork was even worse. Didn't taste the spice nor any flavor. All me and my wife tasted was celery which they dumped in cooking. Everyone had their own take on what they like with Chinese food. I've dined in, and the service was reasonable. I've taken out during this pandemic and they haven't disappointed. I order chicken fried rice as a gauge and compare, and they really do an authentic fried rice. We have been on a strict weight loss diet for the last few months and elected to get silver dragon as a birthday treat. We placed the order through door dash for delivery. We had special instructions for one dish that accidentally got put onto the other dish. We immediately called silver dragon within a minute of placing the order. We tried to explain to the first gal who answered and she did not understand and transferred us to another gentleman. It took a bit but the other gentleman figured out what we were asking. His response was "no, we no do that." If you "don't do that", then why would it be an option on DoorDash, and why have you done it every time before? Our absolute fav Chinese food! It is a modest tiny strip mall eatery, but the taste surpasses the modesty!! Superb in all dishes--nothing bland about there food. I never cared much for Asian cuisine until I gingerly accepted an invitation from a family member exhorting me to "try it!". Been a fan ever since. The owner and wife are very friendly and heartedly greet our family which is about once every 10 days. On my first visit I had the Mandarin Beef which was a nicely balanced blend of garlic and ginger with a little sweetness. A good amount of beef and lots of veggies. When I opened the small container, it was only a little over half full. Very small portions I spent $124 and struggled to feed 5 people every dish wash very small but the food was tasty.

OMG! They deliver........I live outside of their delivery radius and they charge me an extra $2 for delivery. SOLD! My wife and I order about once per week for delivery. They always tell us it will take 45 minutes but then they show up 30 minutes later. :-) We typically order the Beef & Broccoli, S&S Chicken and Almond Chicken and have been pleased with it each time. We are not fans of the Hot and Spicy or egg drop soup but for $0.50 more you can get Won Ton which is really good. We also get a side or of their homemade Pot stickers. Beware that these are larger than your average store bought pot stickers and are very good too. In the past we have ordered the family dinners but have now switched to ordering individual meals. It's cheaper and you get more food this way. No to mention when you order the family meal they only send 3 pieces of the bbq pork. I recommend the Silver Dragon Restaurant :-) read more

We were looking for some celebratory Chinese takeout, so I took to Yelp and found Silver Dragon. I called in my order as I was leaving work and told them what time I wanted to pick up. The place was very easy to find and when I arrived, my food was ready to go! We ordered your usual Chinese takeout fare (sweet and sour and almond chicken, fried rice, beef chow mein, etc.). When I placed my order, I asked to swap out the soup of the day for Won Ton - which was not a problem and was right when I picked my order up (phew!). When we got the food home and opened everything up, each dish had me exclaiming, "This is really good!" I think we've found our new go-to Chinese food place! The portion sizes were huge and the deluxe combo for two was plenty to feed two hungry adults, one toddler and still have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because we didn't eat in, although I told the hubby that I would definitely give it a try. The interior was clean, welcoming and bright and I noticed that they have high chairs, which makes it much easier for us! Definitely glad we gave it a try - you should too! read more

Had a craving for Chinese food, especially for crab rangoons, so this was the closest place I found. We ordered 5 entrees (~$56) which came with a free order of crab dumplings aka crab rangoons. They also deliver so ask if you're in their delivery area. Crab dumplings - thin wrapper, not wrapped in the typical thicker egg roll wrapper. Flavor was good just wished it was wrapped in the thicker crispier wrapper. General tso chicken - all white meat chicken, flavorful sauce with good amount of garlic. Mongolian beef - flavorful and spicy with crispy noodles. Sadly the noodles were placed on the bottom of the container so it was all mushy. Should be placed on top next time. Happy family - combination of meat and seafood, was mostly chicken with maybe 1 or 2 shrimps, possibly had beef (can't recall). Broccoli was the main veggie, don't remember any other veggies. Tofu home style - large pieces of fried tofu with lots of veggies (broc, mushroom, snow peas, carrots) in brown sauce. Nothing extraordinary, but thoroughly enjoyed this dish. House chow mein - tasty noodles with 1-2 shrimps, chicken, and beef. Overall, I enjoyed the dishes we ordered from here. The portions were a tad on the smaller side and does not include white rice. I like that they don't use MSG and that the entrees weren't overly salty. I would eat here or order from here again if I was in the neighborhood. read more

Did take out tonight. We don't eat Chinese very often, maybe 3-4 times a year. This restaurant is the closest to our home in Silverlake. The food here used to be really good, but the last 2 times we have eaten here, not so much. Without going into great detail, the food is not horrible but it is bland and disappointing. Like they're afraid of seasoning and it's a little on the greasy side. Will probably try Ming Dynasty next time which recently opened in the strip mall across from the lake. read more

If you up-charge us for a substitution that doesn't change your cost to prepare a dish just because you can, you demonstrate that you're not a restaurant that we want to do business with. We liked your food but you have lost our business. That's probably going to amount to a fair amount of money considering your proximity to our home and my love for Chinese food. When my boyfriend and I moved to Everett from the Portland/Vancouver area, we tried a lot of different Chinese places. It took us a couple years to find the Silver Dragon. When I first spotted it, I immediately wanted to try it because my favorite Chinese place in Vancouver is named... wait for it... Silver Dragon. To me, this seemed like a good omen. I have all these great memories of hanging out with friends and fellow martial artists at Silver Dragon so I thought, "Hey cool!" Still, because of the lack luster performances of the other Chinese places we'd tried in Everett, we were still wary. We dined in the first time and we were NOT sorry in the slightest. It was fabulous and I really enjoyed their almond chicken and pineapple chicken. My boyfriend got ginger beef and it was great too! Now I only give it four stars because ocassionally when calling in a phone order for delivery we've experienced some verbal miscommunication that resorted to me spelling out the name of our street. So I normally don't go out to eat but to night was something special. My Party and I went to a couple of different location to find them over crowded. We happened on Silver Dragon. I was instantly greeted at the door and the staff was friendly and helpful. My waitress was amazing and friendly, got our order right and our food was there so quick it was like they knew what we were going to before we every stepped in the door. We all enjoyed the service and look forward to eating there again. I have gotten takeout from Silver Dragon several times as I live within 10 minutes and it's on the way home. I can't say I am often overly impressed but being that I've been back with the variety of nearby options should say something. The other day we had orange beef, garlic chicken, and chow mein. The orange beef was a new dish for me as I often get orange chicken. The wife ordered something different. It was quite good and even better when I got down to the extra saucy bits. The garlic chicken was also very good. Not overly garlic or onion and seemed to be pretty much all white meat. The rice and the chow mein were sub-par. The restaurant is often not overly busy but seems to have a fairly steady takeout business. The rice told me it was a slow night... Overly dry and lacked any flavor. We had both white/steamed and fried. Neither impressed much. The chow mein fell into a similar boat. It had almost no flavor and mostly tasted like oil. There was some form of rejected vegetables in there (bad bean sprouts or carrot root offshoots or something) that made me a wee bit scared to continue. The hot and sour soup was tasty. Just the right amount of tofu, bamboo shoots, and fungi for me. I would have this again. The egg rolls (seemed more like what I would consider a spring roll) were good but a bit on the greasy side. A few minutes in a paper towel served them well. Overall it was an ok experience. I would say this was more of a 2-star night but I've also had some 4-star experiences. We ordered to pick up. They were friendly and fast. The food was hot. This is what earned them two stars in my book. Beyond that, the food was dismal. The vegetables were overcooked. The fried food was mushy. The "spicy" dish we got was flavorless and barely any spice at all. The chow menu noodles were greasy, bland and flacid. The fried rice was also bland and left much to be desired. We ended up putting teriyaki and sriracha on everything just to give it some flavor. The crab dumplings are nothing to write home about. Except for a few dots of orange we could see through the wonton wrapper, we couldn't tell there was crab in them at all. Overall, the food was bland and disappointing. I like Silver Dragon because they offer delivery and their food is pretty good. The only weird thing is that they almost always forget napkins and utensils even if you remind them when you place the order. This review is based on our dine-in experience, which overall was good. The older gentleman working seemed annoyed that we weren't ordering fast enough, so he sent a younger guy to keep checking on us, and he was very polite and prompt. The food here is okay. The crabmeat dumplings were wrapped in egg roll paper as opposed to a typical wonton, and I thought they were very good. We ordered two lunch dishes, one was almond fried chicken the other was sweet and sour prawns. I really wanted honey walnut prawns however they only have them as a dinner which was a little disappointing. The food was hot and fresh, but very basic. My whole plate was swimming in sweet and sour sauce, so I wish I had asked for the sauce on the side. I also wasn't a fan of their fried rice, the texture was a little off and it didn't have any vegetables in it. I would eat here again if I was in the area and craving Chinese food, but this place isn't a favorite. read more

I am guessing they are self-reviewing this place because it was the worst chinese food I have had, ever. That's saying alot because I am a go the the smallest hole in the wall place and give it a try. The food was as Alejandro said BLAND in capital letters. We had the pot stickers which were as good as any I could get in my freezer section, hot and sour soup which tasted like they seasoned a soup base with sirachi sauce, kung pao chicken which was steamed or boiled and tossed in a sauce like Frank's red hot and chicken and broccoli combo which was done exactly the same as the kung pao chicken, minus the sauce with zero flavor. Kung Pao is supposed to be flash fried in the wok. I would be surprised if they dont have a large batch of steamed or boiled chicken then use it in all their dishes. By far the WORST chinese food I have ever been to. Will keep exploring but if you want even a decent meal, do not go here. And if Silver Dragon is reading this, you need to get a new chef. read more
