Andrew is responsive, reliable and honest. He came and cleaned my gutters, leaving no mess behind. He also cleaned two skylights which now look like they don't have glass in them, they are SO clean. He recommended putting gutter guards on only the gutters in the back of the house where they collect detritus from an old olive tree, which would allow me to clean the gutters every several years instead of every year. There are quite a few ways he could have made recommendations where he would have made more money (gutter guards on all the gutters, recommending cleaning every year even with the guards, etc.) but his recommendation was what was best for me and my home. Contacted this company and connected with Andrew for gutter cleaning services. He went above and beyond in my opinion! He appeared to be very thorough and overall has great communication. I was relieved with the customer service aspect and of course my gutters look great. He appears to keep his word and follow through, as he had to finish up the next day due to unforeseen circumstances. He even brought in my Halloween decorations that blew off the porch on a windy day (which shows he is personable!) I will definitely use them again in the future after this experience. My windows and gutters needed cleaning but my hubby was unable to be up on a ladder due to a medical issue so a friend recommended Silva Home Solutions. We contacted them and received a quote and scheduled the date for the work to be done. Andrew came out and did a great job on our windows and gutters - no mess, respectful of our home and very polite. Our windows have never looked better! Just finished up a periodic gutter clean out and I couldn't be happier. It has been quite awhile since I had someone service my gutters, but once I saw the rainwater overflowing the gutters, I knew I had a problem. We needed our gutters inspected and cleaned, plus had Costco gutterguards that needed to be installed. Got quotes from a variety of businesses, but Andrew stood out since he had experience with the gutterguard installations and wanted to talk me through his estimate after he checked out my project. The price for the cleaning was reasonable, and we worked out that he'd check to see if our guards would be easy to install and give us an estimate on site. I scheduled the work, they showed up exactly on time, I gave them the boxes of gutterguards, and they got to work. Andrew checked in a little under an hour later, and he surprised me by saying that they had actually installed half of the guards already and that the installation and cleaning was going smoothly. Andrew and his crew finished up, answered all my questions about upkeep and how often we should get our gutters checked, gave good advice, and the project was done in an hour and a half. Leaves, ash, roofing materials, and branches cleared out of our gutters, downspouts all cleared and tested, gutterguards installed; perfectly happy with their work and definitely recommend them! read more

Needless to say, I am posting this review for Silva Home Solutions because I went with them for two reasons: 1) upfront-ness about the quote and how competitive their quote was; 2) their prompt and considerate responsiveness while I was measuring the area I wanted done and asking a few questions about the process and trying to finalize a day for them to come out to get the job done. Definitely not a professional service. We had them out to wash windows, power wash a driveway and power wash our house. After showing up at our appointment time, I was told that their truck had been broken into a a tool they needed was stolen, so they needed to re-schedule. After waiting another week (it had already been a month at this point), they arrived and I heard them discussing the fact that they had lied about the truck being broken into. I was told a team would arrive shortly, but only one guy showed up to do the windows. He talked on the phone the entire time (I heard about a burrito he had been craving for 20 min straight). He left streaks everywhere and bird poop on a few windows, a mess on the floors and window sills and proceeded to rip the sun-blocking film on 3 of the 6 windows that have it. Eventually someone showed up (he said he was the owner) to help with the power washing. When they were finished, the house looked exactly the same (again bird poop was still on the house). When I called to discuss the above issues, I was met with rudeness, a dismissive attitude, lies and condescending attitude. Absolutely no apology was made for all of the issues. After much back and forth, we were refunded our money and sent a roll of window film (we had the film they ruined professionally installed, this isn't something you install on your own and it isn't even the same color as what's on the other windows, so it's basically useless). Fast forward to today and I tried to re-install the screens that they left on our porch (they supposedly repaired some of them). Well, they didn't return 3 of them, two are bent and 3 have mysteriously changed size and are too small for the windows. Yes, they refunded our money, but now we are left with needing to replace screens and window film and pay someone else to clean windows and power wash our house so, essentially these guys are costing us quite a bit of time and money and left us with windows and screens needing repair. read more
