Left with horrible facial scar…read more I went in for removal of small spider vein, probably only visible to me. I usually go to a dermatologist office for this. I have been doing this for 15 years every couple years- no incident. But I was burnt so severely at advanced cosmetic medicine that all the thin layers of fat and collagen have been burnt away leaving a hole - an atrophic scar- in bridge of my nose. I have to have plastic surgery to try to treat this ugly scar. I have had a consult and they said I have two options- cut it out and be left with a linear stitch scar or try fat grafting and a bunch of laser. It's been utterly devastating and humiliating. It is life changing. Advanced cosmetic medicine has contributed money toward my treatment for this scar. However it's far from the emotional impact this has had on me, and all the down time from treatments which so far hasn't worked. I've missed a lot of work, and I am losing friends.
