We were excited to learn of a new solar tech place in Ithaca, so we headed over on a Saturday? Open? Apparently - the lights were on and the door unlocked! We looked a bit, cleared our throats, read some magazines, talked, rustled and waited. Voices in the back, so it was clear we weren't alone. After 20 minutes (we wanted to talk to someone!), I went into the employee area to find the voices. An employee with a mouth like butter told me "actually, we're not open today! But, we'll be sure to call you on Monday!" Not so much, really - no call yet. Another customer walked in while we were there, waited five minutes, then grumbled out. I asked the slick intern if he wanted us to lock the door on the way out - nah. Letting people think they would get service is okay with him. Disillusioned and annoyed. That's me. read more

I have been a web developer since 1996. That business has been faltering for several years, so I recently decided to become an eBay seller. i ordered a solar car back in mid nov and they still have not delivered it to me ive been emailing back and forth and starting to wonder if they are even a business.every time i email they set the delivery date back another month....do not buy anything from this place it has been nothing but a stressful experiance...i gave them one star so my review would show up so the rest of the world knows not to buy anything from these people read more

I received four units from them. Two went bad right after install. While they did repair them quickly, I had to pay shipping to return them. Another went bad a month later. They still want me to pay shipping to get it fixed. I'm never buying anything from these guys again. read more

I ordered a set of solar billboard flood lights from this company by phone on a Friday with 3 day shipping for over $70. At first they didn't have them in stock, but when I said I would look elsewhere as I needed them sooner, they miraculously found some in stock. On Mon. I received an email saying my credit card did not process. When I went over all the info. they said it went through but that the lights are now on back order. When I again tried to cancel they managed to have some in stock all of the sudden. After a lengthy wait, the package arrived with a smashed solar panel due to poor packaging. I told customer service that the glass was packaged toward the outside and suggested they check on how they are packaging and she brushed it off and said they ship many and only break a "few " every now and then and UPS would take care of it. They required me to send all of the contents back to UPS. After over a week of waiting, UPS denied the claim and said it was due to their poor packing. They re-mailed me a new panel, but none of the lights or the second panel that was undamaged in the first place. I had to wait another week to have them shipped. The entire process took over a month and is costing me extra, as the sign company finally just put up the sign without lights and now has to go back out with a crane to mount them.
