We had such a fantastic time and believe this is the best Segway tour we've ever done in the SF area! (We have done the San Francisco Fisherman's wharf tour with City Segway). Jim is incredibly patient, kind, and very thorough in teaching us how to use the Segway. I felt very safe letting my little sister use it and she had a phenomenal time. Jim took us on all terrains and neighborhoods around Pacifica with stunning views. We had the best time and would recommend this to anyone, and would even recommend going to Pacifica even just for this tour.

    Watch out now!!!

On a cool crisp day, the smell of the sea all around us...what better way to enjoy it then to get on a segway!!! I wanted to get out of San Jose and treat my girl and myself to a StayCation, we made that happen in Pacifica. Thanks to Jim at Silicon Segway tours he was patient, trusting, funny and a true California historian which made our tour even more interesting. My girl and I are now Segway riding pros! Great experience and would definitely go back again. Thanks Jim!!!

Fun Pacifica tour!!! The tour ended up with just the tour guide (Jim) and my husband and I. He took us everywhere and was very informative about the history of the town. He was even generous to extend the tour time!! The views were to die for. Highly recommend doing this tour. So easy to ride a Segway!!

A truly unique "walk" down the aisle. So much fun. Thanks Jim!

Very personal tour just my wife and I for Valentine's day weekend. Gorgeous views. Easier than riding bike.

Jim is a sweetheart and the segways are always fun. But the tour was not that scenic or exciting. Our golden gate park tour was better.

It's not your typical tour--you're not stuck behind glass or packed into a big group. The city is right there around you, and everything feels more alive; almost cinematic. The whole experience was super easygoing and fun! We covered a lot without it ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of chances to stop, take photos, and just enjoy where we were. Some of our favorite moments were actually the unexpected spots we never would've found on our own, like the beautiful, yet uncrowded overlook on Telegraph Hill. Everything felt really natural--nothing scripted or forced. Just a great mix of interesting stories, local insight, and a lot of laughs along the way. Chad made the tour phenomenal. He brought brought great energy and enthusiasm to the experience, which made it even more enjoyable without ever feeling over the top. And the bus itself is half the experience! It's such a vibe--people smiling, waving, even taking pictures as you drive by. It adds this extra layer of fun you just don't get anywhere else. By the end, it felt like we experienced San Francisco in a way you can't do anywhere else. So if you're even thinking about it, just book it. Totally worth it!! -Mark & Gina, Kansas, USA.

It was nice to see it with the tour too and not have to worry about makes a reservation there. We promptly left at 8am. And the tour shop does have a small bathroom which is nice to use before you leave. Barry was a great tour guide, he loved taking pictures of everyone and knows a lot about San Francisco. We got out of the bus twice to take pictures on the way to Muir Woods. They were great picture stops and we head nice weather to pose in front of Golden Gate Bridge. Even though I've been to SF 5 times I still loved this tour. I've been to Sausalito before and could have skipped that, there is not much to do in that town besides eat something and look at the bay. Muir Woods is the real gem. We had only 1 hour and 15 min to explore on our own. I was alone so I walked fast and think I got to see more than most in that time. I would have liked more time there. You can add on Alcatraz and the bus drops you off there, or he can drop you at fisherman's wharf or back at the tour shop. Highly suggest this tour company! Very friendly, on time and knowledgeable!

We were supposed to be able to stop in Sausalito for lunch. We didn't get to do that at all. We got back with 20 mins to eat and get in line for the ferry to Alcatraz so we were super rushed. The tour guide was also in a big hurry from the minute we started. He also yelled and honked at cars on 3 seperate occasions. The stops were all rushed. And the tour was mostly the tour guide talking about music recorded in San Fran. Don't recommend for the price.

If you're looking for a peaceful coastal escape, Fitzgerald Marine Reserve is such a hidden gem…read more The tide pools here are the biggest we've ever explored--so much to see and wander through (definitely best when the tides are low!). We even spotted a baby seal, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The beach itself is calm, quiet, and beautifully blue--perfect if you're trying to avoid crowded, touristy spots. I personally skipped swimming since there's a lot of visible coral/rocky areas, but honestly, this place is more about exploring than swimming anyway. Just a heads up: there's about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, but it's totally worth it. Overall, such a cute, peaceful place to spend a day by the ocean.

Check ahead for what time low tide will be so you can plan accordingly. The main entrance to the beach from the visitor center is closed but you can walk 10 minutes over to the Seal Cove staircase and go down to the beach and rocks from there. Bring rainboots or shoes with good grip as the rocks are slippery. You'll see plenty of anemones and hermit crabs and will spot a couple of small fish darting by. If you're lucky, you'll even see a starfish! After being on the rocks for a bit, you can relax on the beach before heading back. Parking is a bit limited - there is a private lot but it fills up quickly but it shouldn't be too difficult to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
