The community is amazing, I have met so many beautiful souls attending this church and has helped pull my husband, our kids, and I closer to God. The church is beautiful I hope to renew our vows. Kids will be attending catechism here. Also I have found that every time I am going through a challenging situation God seems to send me a message through the gospel. We purchased early bird passes and were able to get great seats. Pastor Greg, has brought many Christian based talent to the church, and I was excited to see what these performers had in store. It started with a up close and personal conversation with both artists, Tim Timmons and Sam Wesley which led to a story time about the film. An encouraging and faith led concert ensued and literally shook the crowd with participation of singing and dancing and filled the room with the love and praise for our Lord Jesus. We rent space from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is a beautiful building with stained glass, everybody is welcome as we don't accept any Perfect people. The children's ministry is awesome, consisting of smaller student to teacher ratios as well as a comforting security checkout system. All volunteers are background checked to ensure your little ones are safe at all times, which is so comforting as a parent! The heritage places are open such as a museum and school. The school houses the famous dragon from the parades long ago. I enjoy taking part in the rituals of incense and fortune telling. There are fortune tellers there for you. If you sit in the restaurant next door to the Temple, you can watch the parade go by as sit eating at a window seat!

The caretakers/family who volunteer at this temple are very caring, responsive and helpful. Helen, one of the friendly caretakers took time to explain the history of the temple and Bok Kai is a deity that controls water/floods. My family and I really appreciate this temple and will continue to drive 2.5hrs to pray and keep this temple as part of our tradition. What a gem in the Marysville community, we love it! BTW If you're lucky to see the attached museum (it was being restored/work in progress for a long time), you'll see an amazing collection of historic relics! I was blown away by the massive size and detail of the dragon head, truly an incredible treat for my family to see it!! This church is big and growing, but you cannot beat the child-care in the nursery or the Kids Church (sorry, I refuse to spell it with a 'z'!). The pastors and all the staff are great.
