My experience with National Traffic Signs was awful! Phone calls and emails would not be returned…read moreand I was told misinformation multiple times. I chose to use this company over another, even though their prices were higher, because their shipping/turn around time was supposed to be quicker...I was wrong! I placed the order sent in the payment information and hadn't received a reply that they received the information or what the order status was, so I had to call and follow up. Before even placing the order I told them I had a deadline and needed the signs here a couple days early so I could do my work on them and I was told that would be no problem. After having to call back I was told my order was done and shipped out, I asked them to send me the tracking information and didn't hear from them. A day later I emailed and called again requesting the tracking information and got the same answer of "I will go to the warehouse and get that information right now". Want to guess what happened....I again did not hear back from them. Now it is a week after placing the order, which according to the information he gave me I should have already received the signs. After 2 more days of the same scenario, I finally get a tracking number. Well that tracking number showed that it had just been created that day at 4 something in the afternoon, mind you this was a week after it had supposedly shipped. So after seeing that and noticing it would be arriving the day I needed to have it shipped out after my work on the signs, I yet again called and emailed. Got fed the line that UPS couldn't rush it because they already had it but he would speak with his rep to see if there was anything they could do. Sent a follow up email to that and never got a response. So now I had to take a lose on for the signs being late. Not to mention the signs were not done that great, had some sharp edges, scratches and scuffs and spots where the reflective material had been torn off in the corners. I will NEVER again order from this company and will tell anyone looking for signs to order elsewhere! Absolutely terrible customer service and the products sure weren't worth the frustration and paying more compared to another company.

We hired Roger for a sign project at our workplace for about $5,000, with a $2,500 deposit paid…read moreupfront as requested. Unfortunately, the installation was never completed to a professional standard. When the sign was first installed, the panels were open and uneven. We declined to pay the balance until the issue was corrected. Roger's installer returned and attempted a fix, but the panels were still not properly closed. After I requested that the panels be fully closed, the installer drilled a screw directly through the middle of the sign -- which was not an acceptable solution. I raised these concerns directly with Roger. Instead of resolving the problem, he removed the entire sign without my approval and then demanded full payment, leaving me with no sign at all. He has kept my $3,000 deposit and is asking for the full amount just to return the unfinished sign. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unfair. At this point, I respectfully ask Roger to either (1) finish the installation properly as originally agreed, or (2) refund my deposit in full. I strongly urge future clients to be very cautious about paying large deposits upfront without written assurances of quality and completion.

We hired Thomas Signs to make and install an office building sign for us in Tampa. As soon as we…read moresigned the contract to start work, all customer service walked right out the door with that signature. We were never kept abreast of the status of the sign. All phone messages were returned by our salesman, Tim, via email - never a call back. We were never asked to approve fonts before the sign was actually manufactured. Never told when the installation was going to happen. Never told that the installation actually did happen. (We're not tenants of the office building where the sign was installed.) For a business that's in the business of signs, they didn't even quote us the correct cost of permits (a $275 miscalculation!). The way we discovered the sign was actually installed: we got the invoice in the mail. No "Thank you for your business". No phone call from the company to say, "Hello, your sign is there." When we went up to see the sign, the sign was NOT in the position we wished it to be. And the colors were wrong. No one in the company would take responsibility for any of this. We should have gone with Signs Now. Very disappointed in Thomas Signs. And we will not be using them for our future business.
