I needed a quick turnaround on an order and sign art etc came through. The process is a little confusing in their website to order a step and repeat banner. The customer service person answered the phone quickly but wasn't the most helpful initially. I uploaded a logo to their website on Tuesday and paid for my order. Later that day, I received the proof for my order. I didn't receive any additional confirmation from them after approving my order. On Thursday, I called them and they said the order was ready for pick up. The pick up was smooth. I have a small car so it was a pit difficult to get the sign in but it worked. More communication throughout the process would've been helpful (even an automated email when my order was complete). Overall, the sign was great and cheaper than other places in my area and we will have it for many years to come. read more

Went to pickup the rest of my order that they missed the first time and the doors were locked. They claim to close at 5pm but everyone leaves the office by 4:30. And the apparel we ordered was cheap direct to vinyl rather than screen printed so it was not a good deal either. Would not recommend. They shouldn't be in the apparel business. read more

They took a long time for the proof and the design was not satisfactory. Then the banner arrived with a broken package, so the product was damaged. I called and they sent me another one. Today I was doing the set up, my event is tomorrow, and we are missing a piece, so we could not put it in place. The instructions are not clear, and the quality of the poles are not good. I don't think is a practical product, and there are a lot of different ways to design this product but this is not well designed. read more

I ordered a step and repeat for our graduation event and paid extra for rush delivery. We were guaranteed we would receive it by today for our event on Monday morning. However, after we received the first UPS tracking notification that said we would receive it on Tuesday, June 4th, I called to inquire about the error. They said they thought since we didn't need it until the 4th they could send it later. I explained that no, we needed it on the 3rd and had requested delivery by the 2nd AND had paid for Rush Service to expedite it (as noted in my original email to the company to which they replied they would deliver it by May 31st since the 2nd was a Sunday). Why pay for rush if the company can just choose when they want to deliver it? They said they would Next Day Air it to us for delivery today (May 31st) and send me a new tracking number. Then today, with no tracking number delivered to my email, I called and found out that they didn't even print the step and repeat until late last night AND they printed it on the wrong material. The rep apologized and said she would see if she could get it Next Day Air for delivery on the morning of our event on Monday. She called me back and said she could get it there by 9:30am. (Better than nothing!) Now I just received the new UPS tracking alert saying that they scheduled delivery for June 4th... AGAIN the day after our event. I was looking for a custom chair mat and came upon this company. I read these reviews, got nervous, and then kept searching. After finding only one other company that did chair mats, but was unable to do the image I wanted, I crossed my fingers and emailed Sign Art Etc. They said they could do the image, so I purchased the mat. A couple of days later they sent me the proof which I approved. And just a couple of days after that, I received it! The artist, Max, does not respond to emails, and took a long time to send me a proof. Customer service rep assured me that I would have a proof by a certain day, and nothing. I honestly wish there was a 0 star as a review. Yes that's how bad their customer service is. The only helpful action that this company made was to get me setup to charge my credit card an extra free for faster processing and shipping. And guess what? My item is going to arrive another day late since they decided to wait until monday to ship out my item. To top it off they have a fake customer review on their main link to their website stating they have a 4.9/5 stars which an individual like me can't go rate them on. Everyone here is really nice and I feel like I'm always being treated with courteous respect. Everything I've ever ordered from here has been well within a reasonable price and done FAST. I had a backdrop created and it was beautiful. My daughter's birthday went off without a hitch! I've also ordered some other printed materials and got nothing but outstanding service and a quality product. The price could be higher and it would still be worth it (please don't). The 1st time I used this company it was for a personal event. I own an event planning company so the 1st time for me went really well. This past month I used Sign Art for a client and it has been a living hell. Forget the fact that I specifically asked for the color of burgundy and they sent it to me in red. Saying something about the pantone color wheel...Uh duh, I'm not a graphic designer and shouldn't have to do your job to get the color to me burgundy not RED but this company says, well.... " the owner says he's not sending you out the correct color...." what????????????? What real company says something like that. Thank God I don't run my company as unprofessional as this one or I wouldn't have been in business all these years! I am just sorry that my client's event won't be in the colors of their choice since now, the graphic designers and all the blind people at Sign Art Etc. clearly are blind and dumb. Please don't put yourself in my position. I paid extra to expedite a step and repeat sign and delivery fees. You are not allowed to speak with the graphic artist. Even well written instructions are not followed. It is a back and forth game to get you to pay additional fees for what you want. I finally had my son who is an IT Tech complete the graphics - it took him five minutes and I sent it their graphic artist who doesn't answer e-mails or telephone calls. If you have lots of time and want to miss your event without a step and repeat then please by all means use this company. They shipped the frame and not the screen! Really, to my surprise I opened up the box and I had no screen for my event. While it was not the end of the world it was extremely disappointing and do you think they would compromise on the shipping. I did get an apology but without accountability. They blamed it on UPS. Placed several orders with this company in the past before but never like my last order. I needed a revision and boy did this revision take forever and was still not correct even though I clearly stated the text should be in a certain font!!!! I had to literally call in every week and ask them to send me my revision which was always promised by the next day (never happened!!!!!). And their graphic artist (guy named Max) doesn't respond to your emails. Emailed him several times for an update to no avail. I placed my order a month ago and it's still pending. Oh, and their excuse over the phone is always "we are really busy, we are backed up and trying to take care of everyone's orders". Don't take on more business if you can't handle it and NEVER complain TO YOUR CUSTOMERS ABOUT HOW BUSY YOU ARE (these are very cheap excuses. Hire more people if you have that much work!) These guys really need to take some business and marketing classes and educate themselves. Very poor customer service and lack of professionalism. There's tons of other companies, go somewhere else. This one should close their doors or remove their online store. They obviously can't handle all this work. read more
