John O'Reilly, and the rest of the team at Sigma are really amazing to work with. We had a super urgent job that we had to get going and in less than 30 days John found us the machine, reconditioned and tested it and had it shiny and working like boss on our floor within 3 weeks. Not only that, but, the technician (Justin), that was sent out to train and troubleshoot, stayed an extra 2 days to make sure that we were well taken care of. Don't do business with this company! We ordered equipment that arrived broken and with missing parts. While the company offered to replace the parts - and made a point that it would be "free of charge," the equipment ended up causing physical injury to my employee. They refused to take back the equipment. This company is not reputable, they don't even inspect what they sent - they are a mere broker. We intend to file a lawsuit to get back the money we paid for a piece of garbage. I give them zero stars. read more

Not an honest company, was told the equipment I purchased was in working order. It was not, I had to spend almost what I paid for it to get it working,, could have a bought a brand new machine for what I had in it. Customer service is terrible it took them 4 months to try and resolve something. they did offer me 1000 credit towards next purchase, what a joke. read more

I purchased a piece of equipment from Sigma Packaging. Before the purchase I was straightforward with my concerns about doing business with a company I have never worked with before. The sales associate was adamant about the quality of Sigma and the people the equipment was coming from. I still insisted on having them check the operation and overall condition of the machine and assure me that there were no major obvious problems. He called back with verbal assurances that everything was great. A few days later I moved forward with the purchase but when the equipment arrived there was a major problem. The main drive unit was badly damaged and had been for a while. The sigma sales associate called me close to twice a day to make the sale but after I called and made him aware of the problem, he refused to answer any further calls or voicemails or emails. I also included his manager on an email outlining the need for someone to get back to me and left a message as well with no response to date. They did however respond after I posted bad reviews and offered to pay for repairs on the equipment. They also insisted that this situation was the exception and not the norm Dave C. read more

We just wanted to post a follow-up reiterating our disappointment, frustration, and disbelief with the treatment we have received from Sigma Equipment. The misrepresentations, and deception have continued for an additional three weeks and our outstanding issues are still not resolved. Do not do business with this company. **Final follow-up. We received a refund for the equipment, but not the over $5,000 of shipping and rigging expense incurred during this awful transaction. We will not be doing business with Sigma equipment again, nor would we recommend you do at all, but wanted to acknowledge at least the partial resolution of the situation. read more

I am from Canada and found the previous review upon researching this company before making a purchase from them. I thought to myself usually people only go to post a negative review when something bad happens so one bad review probably isn't an issue. They were very helpful with my first experience importing the product and arranging the freight. I received it on-time with some small repairable issues that I wasn't aware of. I put together an email with pictures and sent it to them expressing the issues and FIRST thing the next morning the manager was phoning me to help me out. I was very surprised and impressed to get this reaction. He was great and apologetic and refunded me some money that we agreed upon that covered the cost of my time and repair. Buying sight unseen and used is always a risk. But I would never hesitate to purchase from them again as I have never had a manager himself call me first thing the following morning and make it right and hassle free. read more

Our business purchased three material handling lifts from Sigma. They were able to skid them together and save us freight cost. They provided great customer service and I highly recommend them to others. We will use them again for equipment needs. read more
