I had walked by this place earlier in the day and my instincts just told me that I should check it out. What a pleasant surprise! The Google reviews had it listed as average. But what the hell do Google plebs know! This is YELP! We are the Elite! I'm guessing that the Google reviews are because people are feeling a little intimidated. It does give off a somewhat upscale establishment feel. Anyways we made reservations for our last dinner for this trip to Paris. The restaurant is broken into multiple dining rooms and for some odd reason the restaurant had decided not to seat customers in the dining rooms that face out towards the street. Giving the restaurant the appearance that it was not very frequented when we showed up for dinner. There's a doorman at the front like you would have at a hotel. Hostesses and coat check. We were lead into a large, elegant, high ceiling, central atrium dining room. This dining room was actually pretty full and there was another dining room further back that I saw more people in as well an an upstairs? I thought that this was somewhat strange since most places want to create the appearance of being popular to attract customers and this place was being intentionally low key. Happening to overhear parts of random conversations the dominant language of the other guest were French. Most of the guest were part of young, attractive, trendy crowd. Not sure how I ended up here. The front of house is very well staffed so service was quick although somewhat disorganized. The calamari is ridiculously good. The Branzino would have been better if the skin was crispy. The lobster pasta was pretty, but lacked flavor and the lobster was way overcooked. The tiramisu was a perfect classic tiramisu.

Sienna was recommended by our hotel and they were able to get us a reservation on Thursday night. We arrived and the place was already crowded as were most places around. We were warmly greeted and sat in one of the main dining rooms. We don't speak any French, but were able to communicate easily with the professional staff. Food was very good, as was the service. A young talented woman walked around the restaurant singing beautifully, a real nice touch. Food was a little on the high side, but quality, service and decor may justify the price. The only real negative was once we paid our bill and basically took the last sip of our coffee we were ask to move to the upstairs bar as they needed the table. I always thought a Parisian dinner lasted into morning? :-)
Solid Italian restaurant with a diverse menu, a pretty central room with high ceilings and a skylight, and very professional service. The food was actually perfectly prepared and very flavorful. The veal piccata (lemon/white wine) was excellent; we kept dipping the veal back into the sauce on the plate. The mashed potatoes with it was a perfect accompaniment. The rigatoni with vodka sauce was also richly flavored and cooked al dente; absolutely perfect! Overall, they exceeded my expectations and it's a solid four-star Italian dining experience. read more

I just finished a birthday dinner at your lovely restaurant, Siena Paris, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service from our waiter, Raphaël. He rushed the service, did not take the time to answer our questions about the menu, and rarely returned to our table. After offering the dessert menu and we declined, he left us waiting for 30 minutes. We had to ask one of the hosts for the bill. When he finally returned, my guest reminded him that it was my birthday and asked whether the restaurant offered a complimentary dessert. He immediately said yes and asked if I liked tiramisu as the only option. I agreed, and then he disappeared again. When we received the bill, we saw that the dessert had been charged. When we asked for clarification, he explained that desserts are charged after they are served. We then had to wait another 30 minutes for him to return to collect the payment. The lack of attentiveness--especially compared to the attention he was giving to other tables--was very disappointing and took away from what should have been a special evening. read more

Absolutely gross. No way around it. The food was terrible. So sad because it's so beautiful inside you except something delicious. When we arrived they told us to be out within an hour because they're busy. That wasn't a nice experience. Lastly, when our food was done we saw them place it down and leave it on a stand for about 5 minutes. read more

I enjoyed this restaurant very much. It's got a very sexy vibe inside and the food was delicious. For pasta, we tried the cacio y pepe, spicy rigatoni and tagliatelle porcini. The mushroom tagliatelle was the standout dish by far. Service was very good, waiter was friendly and attentive. read more

Wonderful!!!! we had a wonderful dinner. It was absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend it if you're in Paris, it is the best meal we've had so far in Paris. The people couldn't be nicer! Our waiter Jerome was so patient and professional. He said he loves his job. Thank you Jerome!!! read more

This is a hit-or-miss. It's two restaurants within the same restaurant, for the same price, and you'll only half-enjoy it if you're seated in the 'nice' area, which we had asked for when we booked. We reserved a table for 2 to celebrate a special occasion more than 3 weeks in advance. Arrived 10mins early. Were told to wait by the bar while we saw the hostess seat 5 different couples ahead of us in the 'nice' area (they each arrived after us). Got seated 15mins later in the 'back room'. When I asked, the hostess said they don't take table reservations. When I asked why others were seated ahead of us, she said 'they are with the manager'. So that's the kind of place this is. Service was good, food was okay, music was loud & outdated, atmosphere was overall bad and overrated. Don't recommend it at all. read more
