So I kinda wish they had health inspection scores in Sweden. Maybe they do, but they aren't in full…read moreview when a customer orders food. I don't know but it was just a feeling I had about the quality of the food here. No complaints about the quantity though, plenty of whatever you order even if it does take a while for a place that feels like a fast-food place. Lots of formica in here (photo: http://bit.ly/29hK1tt) and a restroom that was rather scary from a hygiene standpoint, something that apparently didn't bother a lot of non-paying passers-by from abusing it. Jamie W. and I stopped by here on the way to the Old Haymarket down Kungsgatan.
There were the standard kebab plates on the overhead menu, so it was easy enough to order. Jamie went for the 87 SEK Iskender Kebab plate with Drink. The side salad consisted of shredded lettuce that was just a little too wet for comfort (photo: http://bit.ly/29etcR9). I ordered more risk-aversely the 103 SEK Shish Kofte plate with Fries and Drink. Or did I? It came with a few grilled vegetables and very cold white and red sauces on the side (photo: http://bit.ly/29e61bf). I don't know what combination triggered it, but there was a whole lotta shakin' going on in my stomach at the market. I was still happy not to have gone into that restroom though.
FOOD - 2 stars...plenty of kebab but not sure how healthy it really was
AMBIANCE - 1.5 stars...just a fast-food joint with an extremely gamey restroom
SERVICE - 2 stars...not much to comment on except they yelled pretty well
TOTAL - 2 stars...maybe stick with Swedish meatballs...elsewhere?
