Obviously, being hungry, we asked at reception where we could eat. They told us that all the restaurants were closed and that we could only have dinner starting from 6:30 PM. Alternatively, they suggested we go to the pastry shop, where we could find a snack until dinner. But the real "fun" only started after four days. We began to feel our noses getting blocked and started coughing. We discovered that the air conditioning system hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Considering that we had unpleasant experiences in the past caused by dirty air conditioning full of bacteria and germs, we asked the "guest assistance office" for help. There, a gentleman promised me the issue would be fixed that very day and that someone would come to clean the system. Nobody ever showed up. And so, the whole family caught a cold. On the fifth day, in the morning, my daughter woke up with a terrible headache and a fever. We gave her the usual treatment (Nurofen, Paracetamol), thinking it was just sunstroke. But we wanted a doctor to check her. To our surprise, the hotel doctor was nowhere to be found, and the nurse was more like a decorative figure. In the meantime, the vomiting and diarrhea started. Today, after we arrived back home, my daughter was seen by her doctor, who concluded that she had developed gastroenteritis, most likely caused by the pool water or the food. And let's not forget the cherry on top. Yesterday afternoon, we returned the beach towels in order to get our cards back. There, a very frustrated "lady" asked me something in Turkish. Obviously, not knowing the language, I asked her if she spoke English. At that moment, visibly upset and sarcastic, she told me: "English? Go home, go home... Bye Bye." On top of all that: Dirty curtains and a dirty armchair in the room Extremely weak Wi-Fi Evening shows dedicated exclusively to Russian guests Zero imported beer (even though we paid for an ultra all-inclusive package) Stray cats freely wandering around the restaurants A broken balcony door Many noisy and drunk Russian guests No showers around the pool area

I'm always a bit nervous checking out of one hotel and into another, particularly when leaving a Ritz Carlton. We also love going out to dinner, so all inclusives are a bit of an unknown for us. It's that unknown that had us worried as we arrived. The website lists few details about the restaurants and there is that overly complicated and tricky way that you have to make reservations two nights in advance for the sit down restaurants. We couldn't do that prior to arrival and we thought we'd be sent to the buffet. Not the case, go figure there were many available tables at the restaurant we ended up in. Maybe people are funneled to the buffet? That's fine for breakfast and maybe lunch, but I want to sit down and order with a waiter for supper. That said, the food was surprisingly good and we enjoyed all of our meals. We would have been pleased to see some simple grilled options instead of so many fried and heavily sauced options or swimming in oil. Our room was a good one along the end of the lagoon pool on the ground floor. Wood floors throughout and a jacuzzi tub. Housekeeping came by with an ergonomic pillow that I requested from their pillow menu and let me tell you those things are sweet! Slept like a baby. Mini bar was restocked daily (unless it wasn't) and you could order room service too. All inclusive has its perks you see. We had a few lounge chairs that we could roll out and hang out on. Most days we headed to the beach and got some sun. The seating along the docks went quickly, so you'll want to get out there early for those. We were fine on the beach and loved it there. It's not everyday at the beach when you see an guy taking people for camel rides. On the negative side, they do not have irons for you to use due to fire hazards (what?). Wish I had known that before I packed linen. Housekeeping was spotty and missed a lot in our room and failed to do it once when we were out all day. Overall, it was a nice stay and service was great. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and they seemed to enjoy working here.

Normally I am not a fan of all inclusive holidays but every day the food was second to none and especially when you went to the separate restaurants, which specialised on a certain country in the world. The actual hotel rooms where perfect and there wasn't a bit of dirt or dust anywhere. The staff where brilliant and they dealt with problems in seconds! The private beach was brilliant as you had the best views with a private bar right next to it so didn't have to trek back to get one. I will definitely be going back to this place and looking forward to it.

The wide variety of food was really nice (although very salty), and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the convenience of the game room. The facilities were also very pleasant, modern, and clean. I also found the WhatsApp concierge/assistance service to be extremely convenient. Ferdi was always so responsive to my questions, and it made our stay a lot more seamless. Our one complaint was that our first room (1217) seemed to have a somewhat foul stench in it--almost like rotten cheese or gym shoes. Luckily, they happily moved us to another room the next day, but we noticed a slight stench in that room's closet too, although not as strong. The room layouts are a bit odd, where the shower is directly adjacent to the main room area, so there's no way to change after your shower without entering the main room area. This would pose a challenge if you're trying to maintain some privacy after showering. It would be much more practical for there to be a "dry" area outside the shower but still within an enclosed bathroom where you could change. Aside from some nit-picks about the room though, we really enjoyed our stay.

The main restaurant food is really repetitive but still good. If you get tired of eating there you can always take a 5 euro can ride into the city center and walk around there and try their restaurants outside of the resort. If not then try the a la carte restaurants inside the resort. The Japanese grill is fun and delicious, the Italian is very good, the Chinese it's ok only I would rather much save my stomach to eat something else. The mini bar inside of your room is always refilled everyday!! I like the fact that the lounge area where the bars are they always serve you chips and peanuts and drink. You're truly spoiled when you're there! The spa is amazing! The inside pool is small but the sauna and Turkish bath was awesome!!!! Everyone has to experience a Turkish bath at least once in their lifetime! Table tennis is around every corner. If you want to play any kind of sport you just go to the animation desk and ask them for it. The animation team is fun and friendly! I like the fact that they remember your name! They are such friendly people. Here is a word of advice I strongly hope you take into consideration! Please do not pay 80-90 euros for the cab drivers to take you to old Antalya! That is a god damn rip off. YOU CAN RENT A CAR FOR 20 EUROS FOR THE WHOLE DAY!! The car rental has a gsp on it so it will take you a where your heart desires! Having the cab driver take you there for 80-90 bucks is a fucken rip off and they know it! They only stay there 4 hours and it takes about an 45 min to an 1 hour to get there! Don't do it! Rent the car and explore on your own! The city is completely safe! Your only DANGER IS OVER PAYING!!! Back to the resort. In the spa area there is a small gym connected to the spa and inside pool. Equipment is clean and new. The elliptical is the only out of date thing in there. The most fantastic thing about this resort is they have an app you can download! It tells you what time events are happening! It tells you what time the main restaurants are open and it even reminds you of fun things such as yoga outside and where you can grab some delicious ice cream during brunch! Around non there by the beach they serve Turkish pancakes! They are filled with potatoes or cheese. For the sweet tooth in is some pancakes even have cinnamon and butter!! Yum!!!! There are a ton of resorts to pick from in Belek but I would return to this hotel in a heart beat for the type of service I am receiving! People who remember your name and remember what you like to eat and ate genuinely happy to see you makes this resort the top notch. I'm the American girl that flew all the way from Texas to Turkey!
